Mission Hills Players Who Impressed:   2024, 5’4, PG, Mariah Brown - Solid point guard that takes care of the ball on the floor and is a great lead guard that makes the right decision for her team. She can shoot it from the midrange and get to the rim, but she is still working on her three pointer. She is very athletic and works really hard on the floor on both sides of the ball.   2022, 5’11, SF, Kennan Ka - Lengthy forward on the floor with some genuine skills, she can catch turn and face and either knock down the midrange or take it all the way to the basket. She has a high IQ and runs the floor in transition very well, makes the right play 99% of the time while she is playing the game. Skilled in the post as well and can catch swing thru and finish over you at the rim. Excellent rebounder and uses her size to dominate her opponent.   2022, 5’8, SG, [player_tooltip player_id="162834" first="Jessica" last="Grant"] - True scorer on the floor for Mission Hills, she gets it done at all three levels on the floor, she is silky smooth with the three pointer shooting (5/8) from the field in the first half of the game. Handles the ball well as a scoring guard, does not turn it over and gets to her spots behind the arc to make shot for her team. Fairly athletic and one of the quickest girls on the floor in this contest impressed us with her stroke from outside.   2022, 6’0, SF, Alina Tran - Solid big bodied forward with the skills that can keep her ready for the next level, she uses her body well in the paint to seal her opponent as well as can step out and shoot the three ball. She is quite agile, runs the floor like a gazelle and can catch and finish through traffic and is a great rebounder. Can score from two levels which are getting to the basket and the midrange jumper, her three is in a working status at the moment.
