[player_tooltip player_id="91582" first="Nia" last="Brown"] 2022, 6’0" F (Orange Park). Brown had an amazing week that was full of special moments. Brown reached the 1000 - point scoring mark last week (see picture above), and went out and had a monstrous week, particularly against St Augustine. Brown tried her best to take down the undefeated St Augustine High School with a 22 point and 9 rebound effort. The Senior is having a great senior campaign averaging 12.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, and an impressive 4.1 blocks per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="248620" first="Avery" last="Cannon"] 2022, 5’8" G (Fleming Island). Cannon had an amazing week of basketball, scoring 31, 11, and 25 and connecting on 13 of 25 threes for the week. Cannon has connected on 37 three-pointers through 13 games. Cannon does play an all-around game. She runs the floor well and does average nearly 4 assists per game and nearly 4 rebounds per game.

Robinson is one of the top defensive guards on the First Coast averaging nearly 3 steals per game. What makes her special on the defensive end is her quick lateral movement and her ability to deflect and intercept passes. Robinson’s ability to turn steals into layups has been her calling card this basketball season. Robinson has also been producing in the midrange area the last 3 games. On senior- night, Robinson connected on 13 points and also had 12 against Baldwin earlier in the week.
Ahmaya Redrick 2023, 5’9 G (Raines) did some nice things against Orange Park. She has good length at 5'9" and uses her length to defend multiple positions on the court. She was aggressive on defense, showed the ability to stay in front of the opponent and force difficult shots. Redrick made a few long-range shots, but her ability to drive past her defender stood out. The linky guard can take it left or dribble drive to the right. Redrick's ability to make shots against quality defenders was also noted. Redrick also used her height to crash the boards and doing it from the guard position was impressive.

She did a good job of handling the point guard duties and showed her well-rounded game. Alexander is evolving into that player who does a lot of the little things that don’t show up on the stat sheets. Alexander did a good job of handling the press and also advancing the ball against the press and pressure defense. Alexander can shoot the long ball and also does a good job of taking the ball to the goal. Against Raines, she was exciting when driving to the goal and setting up her teammates for easy baskets. The young backcourt that features Alexander and [player_tooltip player_id="331745" first="Eris" last="Lester"] is a very formidable backcourt that will continue to get better.
[player_tooltip player_id="91656" first="Aja" last="Pollard"] 2023, 5’8″ G (Bartram Trail). Pollard was impressive against Bolles putting in a 22 point scoring effort. What was impressive is that Pollard only had 2 threes and the rest of the points came around the paint and from the free-throw line (8 for 10). Pollard is one of the most athletic players on the First Coast, and she is at her best when she is scoring in the paint where only a few can match her athleticism.
