[player_tooltip player_id="304736" first="Savannah" last="Scott"]-6’4 (Conway) made the finals Tip Sheet as she helped her Arkansas squad reach the finals of the Sandra Meadows Classic and speaking of the finals, serviceable minutes from Duncanville’s Breniya Arnold-5’9, don’t go unnoticed as she hit clutch baskets and hit the boards throughout the event
[player_tooltip player_id="195902" first="Mallory" last="Collier"]-6’5 (Bartlett) TN
Collier uses her size well around the basket, on both ends so when you factor in 77 inches with her wingspan, that should tell you a whole lot so be it changing shots or blocking them, she gave those who challenged something to think about as well as defenders that attempted to contain her around the rim. She finished strongly, this includes "after contact" and she ran the floor on both ends after rebounding yet I was equally impressed with her athleticism as she did a good job on the defensive end
Ashlyn Yarbrough-5’11 (Hardin Jefferson)
Yarbrough is a big piece of Hardin Jefferson’s puzzle. Yes they have the #1 player in Texas [player_tooltip player_id="65906" first="Ashlon" last="Jackson"] As well as one of the top sophomores, [player_tooltip player_id="166646" first="Kendall" last="Sneed"], yet they’re on the verge of yet another state title run and she’s one of the reasons why. She rebounds, on both ends of the court and has nice moves around the basket but peep this, she’s not one dimensional on the offensive end as she steps out and drops the midrange as well as attacks the rim from various spots
Micah Vaugh-6’0 (Cedar Hill)
Vaughn goes hard in fact let me throw her into one of those "never takes a play off" type of player because be it going after loose balls on the court as well as off the rim, she is on it ad her power and strength speaks volumes every time I catch her. The power also shows up on her finishes as she does a good job of taking the lick and completing the play yet she uses her strength on defense to ger positioning as well as being in the battle
[player_tooltip player_id="267348" first="Molly" last="Beavers"]- 5’1 (Hardin Jefferson)
Beavers has me thinking "Leave It To Beavers" at times as she just comes up with big baskets time after time. She’s agile and athletic, she can defend full court as well as in the set but speaking of full-court, she also showed she could handle the ball in the open court which definitely adds to her game because she can drop the stop and pop in transition yet watching her receive passes by filling the lane in transition should tell you she’s another big piece of their puzzle
[player_tooltip player_id="204180" first="Tobi" last="Ademuwagun"]-6’0 (The Village School)
Ademuwagun is one of those players that came from nowhere to pass many because of two things, her work ethic and her mindset so watching her skillset continue to add more options, the three-ball continues to create issues for defenders because she can put it on the floor from 25 feet and explode to the basket yet she can also handle the ball coast to coast and finish after rebounding but her finishes are just mind-boggling at times and her body control enable her to do some acrobatic things yet she also explodes off the ground for rebounds
