As I close out my coverage from this event, I was pleasantly pleased with the many new faces I personally caught, some I was clueless about yet I have several that will be added to my next update for the Top 100 in various classes
Hannah Carr-5’7 G (Frisco Lonestar)
Carr isn't a new face, I've been watching her since the 6th grade exploding by defenders and I hadn't seen her since then yet when she turned around and I caught a glimpse of her, everything came back. She's still exploding by defenders yet her mid to long-range was nice, so was her court vision yet I enjoyed her playing the passing lane and throwing blazing passes for scoring opportunities and she did a good job defending
[player_tooltip player_id="158876" first="Leaire" last="Nicks"]-6’1 F (Wylie East)
Nicks caught my eye before high school enough to tag #D1Lock on her because she was "long and athletic" and just got after it on both ends. I also didn't recognize her immediately because she's added mass and is using it well around the basket scoring with players literally hanging on her yet her rebounding with authority, on both ends, definitely was nice. She scored on putbacks, she ran the floor, on both ends and she still has some upside
Jada Graves-5’4 PG (Amarillo)
Graves showed me a lot when I caught her at #Super64 and she was definitely impressive and proved I look for players, the team or logo is of no interest to me, and everything I said the first time showed how I'm always on point, yet her ability to run the point will get her added on the next update. She isn't the first option to score yet she understands how to set her teammates up with her ability and being vocal so that helps makes those around her better yet that first step sets a plenty up as she scores off the dribble as well as dishes off the dribble but the pull-up was hard to handle as well
Brooklyn Terry-5’11 F (Mansfield Timberview)
Terry blended it well and gave serviceable minutes as she understands how to get hers "in the flow" yet finds ways to help her team that might not necessarily show up on a score or stat sheet. I like her game, she's long and athletic and if you remember that's the base, you've been paying attention yet trust me, she has some serious upside so defenders need to be paying attention to her even more
[player_tooltip player_id="206965" first="Paris" last="Bradley"]-5’10 SG (Lewisville Hebron)
Bradley has game as I play on words and I remember the first time I saw her, I actually got up to find out what her name was, the only time I do that when the club hasn't turned in a roster is when the player is legit and her being labeled #D1Lock the first time I saw her should tell you something. Mid to long-range or off the dribble, her ability to find ways to put the ball in the basket is impressive. She rebounds on both ends and understands something very important" how to take over a game" down the stretch
Jordan Thomas-6’3 P (Lewisville Hebron)
Thomas showed me enough to add her to the next update, don't know how I missed 75 inches but it happens for whatever reason but her ability to score around the basket, fluid and powerful, showing numerous moves isn't all she did. Her defense was nice on the interior yet she also showed she could step outside the paint and defend plus she also rebounded on both ends of the court and scored off putbacks, yes after contact
2025
Sydnee Jones-5’5 G (Lewisville Hebron)
Jones is one of those players I've been watching what seems like forever which is what it actually is since I caught her in elementary school and her energy and desire initially caught my eye yet her growth spurt, her poise, and her ability to run her team just had me beaming that I actually caught her freshman season. She doesn't back down, she accepts whatever challenges are thrown at her and her upside has her in really good shape
