KK Brodie (Rock Bridge): The 6’4″ Pepperdine recruit is a force at both ends of the court. She can control the paint defensively with her ability to block and alter shots inside. She has excellent timing and she challenges shots with minimal fouling. She uses her size to score well in the post and she can pass the ball very well out of the double team. She can also step out to hit perimeter jumpers from the baseline and from the elbow.
Beatrice Culliton (St Thomas Aquinas): The 6’3″ Oklahoma recruit is a dominating player in the paint with good skills and fundamentals inside. She scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the opening game against Lee’s Summit West. She moves well inside and establishes excellent position in sealing defenders. She uses the backboard with great success. She keeps it simple and it’s very effective and tough to stop.
Charlotte O’Keefe (St. Thomas Aquinas): A 6’3″ forward who plays very well in tandem with Culliton in the twin towers alignment. The lefty has an excellent shooting touch around the basket and she also works well in the high-low set. She passes the ball well inside. She is also very solid on the offensive boards, where she got plenty of putbacks.
