Kendall Puryear (Blue Springs South): The 6’2″ 2024 forward was very impressive in the two games that I watched her as she was matched up against some excellent senior post players and she more than held her own. She posts up strong inside and she has a tough drop step move for a bucket. She excels at the power game, but she can also step outside and hit the 15-footer. She’s also very unselfish with her passing skills.
Alexis Alexander (Blue Springs South): A 6’1″ 2024 forward who teams with Kendall Puryear to give the Jaguars an excellent pair of inside players. She’s a very active player who runs the court well and works hard on blocking out on the boards. She will also rebound out of her area.
Summer Yancy Summer Yancy 6'0" | SF Raytown | 2024 State MO (Raytown): A 6’0j” 2024 combo forward who has good athleticism and a versatile skill set. She uses her athletic ability well with her quick second jump on the offensive boards. She is also comfortable handling the ball and making plays off the dribble. She is a developing player with a big upside.
Aa’Mya Stacker Aa’Mya Stacker 6'3" | PF Grandview | 2023 State MO (Truman): A 6’2 2023 forward who enjoyed a very solid tournament. She displayed some good power moves inside against some highly-regarded players. Her drop step move was very effective. She was also a factor on the boards.
Cady Huffman (Lee’s Summit West): A 6’6″ 2024 center who is the tallest player in the tournament. She’s a developmental talent who already does a good job of sealing her defenders and getting deep post position inside. She keeps the ball high when she catches the ball.
