Riley Abney Riley Abney 5'9" | SG Ortonville Brandon | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, Brandon)
Abney led the way in her team’s solid 49-40 victory against Swartz Creek. She scored 19 points and dished out 7 assists. Abney has been a consistent star presence all season long.
Ava Boike Ava Boike 5'10" | SG Genesee Christian | 2022 State MI (2022, SF, Gensee Christian)
Don’t look now, but Boike is cementing her spot among the top wings the senior class. She continues to prove that she can up points in bunches. Last night, she became Genesee Christian’s all time leading scorer with a 26 point game.
Macy Brown Macy Brown 5'11" | PG East Grand Rapids | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, East Grand Rapids)
Brown has been the catalyst in a recent winning streak for East Grand Rapids. Last night, she scored 28 points in a tough win over a game Forest Hills Northern squad.
Lexie Bowers Lexie Bowers 5'7" | CG Kent City | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Kent City)
Bowers is considered an elite prospect in Michigan and in games like last night, it’s easy to see why. She led her team to a 61-31 win against Central Montcalm. Bowers had 23 points and 5 assists in the game.
Theryn Hallock Theryn Hallock 5'9" | SG Forest Hills Central | 2022 State #71 Nation MI (2022, SG, Forest Hills Central)
Hallock was the sparkplug in a 65-59 win over Greenville. She went for, scoring a game high 33 points.
Alexandra Kolnitys Alexandra Kolnitys PG Midland Dow | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, Midland Dow)
Kolnitys set the tone on both ends in her team’s impressive win last night. On offense, she led the way with 20 points. Kolnitys was a game changer defensively, forcing turnovers and finishing with 7 steals.
Sela Lefler Sela Lefler 5'6" | PG North Farmington | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, North Farmington)
Lefler continued her onslaught in a 49-38 win against Troy Athens. She ledthe way on offense by scotching the nets with 26 points. Lefler got it done on the defensive end as well, ending the night with 6 swipes.
Aniysia Lewis Aniysia Lewis 5'9" | SG Hamtramck | 2022 State MI (2022, SG, Hamtramck)
Lewis once again showed why college coaches should turn an eye in her direction. She had a double-double last night with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Maggie Liebler (2022, PF, Birmingham Seaholm)
Liebler was critical in her team’s tight win over Harper Woods. Liebler has shown the ability to dominate in the lane and she did just that last night. She finished with 19 points and grabbed an eye popping 18 rebounds.
Davai Matthews Davai Matthews PF Wayne Memorial | 2022 State MI (2022, PF, Wayne Memorial)
Matthews was so solid in an impressive win against Belleville. She finished the game with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Maddux Overweg (2024, CG, Springport)
Overweg was key in a 63-44 win over Pennfield. She had a jaw dropping 30 point game. She also contributed 8 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 assists.
Rachel Resio (2023, G, Swan Valley)
Resio is showing us that she should have been ranked at the last update. Her game is growing under the tutelage of Coach Dell Johnson. Resio had a night last night showing her versatile game. She stacked the stat sheet with 36 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in a victory over Alma.
Bri Thomas Bri Thomas 5'9" | CG Trenton | 2024 State MI (2024, CG, Trenton)
Thomas was basically unstoppable last night in a solid win over Southgate. She flooded the state sheet with 22 points, 6 assists, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds.
Janae Tyler Janae Tyler 5'11" | C Holt | 2023 State MI (2023, C, Holt)
Tyler is on a tear right now. In a game featuring a couple handfuls of talent, Tyler stood out and led her team to a 65-52 win against Williamston. She finished the contest with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Tyler once again dominated and controlled the paint.
Ruby Whitehorn Ruby Whitehorn 6'0" | PG Detroit Edison | 2022 State #20 Nation MI (2022, PG, Detroit Edison)
Whitehorn had an impressive double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. She also added 5 steals and 2 assists. Not to mention, Whitehorn was chosen to play in the McDonald’s All American Game.
Nevaeh Williams Nevaeh Williams 5'5" | CG Mt. Clemens | 2022 State MI (2022, CG, Mt. Clemens)
Williams continues to make her case as a Miss Basketball finalist. She has put up some insane numbers and did it again Tuesday night. She finished the game with 39 points, 8 steals, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds.
