Her game is really pretty simple to evaluate. Name a skill and say she’s good at it. Seriously though, I really like the way she’s expanded her game over the years. Bowers has always been a stone cold shooter, but that’s just a piece of her game. She’s a 2 way player that will hit every corner of the stat sheet. She almost had double digit assists when I evaluated her game. Bowers has a pure feel for the game and the action around her, which is huge at the point guard position.

Kent City is on fire right now as a team and Bowers has obviously been key to that run. In last nights win, she had 27 points, 10 steals and 3 assists. With play like this from Bowers, Kent City could be playing a lot of post season games.

Bowers has a very complete perimeter game. She’s a high IQ player that can handle and get the ball to where it needs to be. Bowers has always been known as an elite shooter though, and she deserves that title. She’s simply a game changer from beyond the 3 point line. With Bowers, we kind of knew this moment would come when she’d hit her 1000th point.

Bowers is a seasoned veteran that has played in countless number of big games and always seems to rise to the top in those matchups. She’s an excellent leader that can help to carry her team to high levels of success. Bowers will be headed to Northwood following her high school career and my bet is that she will see tremendous success at the next level as well.
