So in dabbling with an online service, I teleported to various games, well virtually yet I did get a chance to see some heat as far as some of the top 2025 players I have seen in the state yet let me back it up and give a special shoutout to Leonna Sneed Leonna Sneed 5'6" | PG SA Wagner | 2025 State TX because “L.A” that’s what they call her and rightfully so because in the 5th grade I said she was going HOLLYWOOD, aka #D1Lock and her dropping 50 with San Antonio Wagner, being coach by her mom, a former San Antonio and University of Texas star had to open the story.
Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX
Another freshman put her Cinco Ranch team on her back, Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX , as they are in a district dogfight with her averaging around 17 ppg, based on Max Preps, and coming off a couple of stunning upsets, we’ll some self-promoter was upset but this young lady is LEGIT and has her team in a good position to make some noise in the playoffs
Katelynn Evans Katelynn Evans 5'9" | SG Lebanon Trail | 2025 State TX
Katelynn Evans Katelynn Evans 5'9" | SG Lebanon Trail | 2025 State TX -5’7 CG (Lebanon Trail)
Evans is making her presence felt by filling in the gaps, yeah she battles on the boards and rebounds against taller players yet she was that in the 4th grade when I called her a #D1Lock yet while others talk tutelage, I talk talent and watching her add to her outside game over the years has been nice yet she’s one of those “you won’t outwork me” types of players that will keep elevating her game
Shiloh Kimpson Shiloh Kimpson 5'7" | SG Little Elm | 2025 State TX -5’7 CG (Little Elm)
Kimpson showed me “poise on the court” at a very young age and with me labeling her ’The Baby” after observing her observe her older sister Amarachi play over the years, she grew up on the floor instantaneously and running the point, yeah she controlled the tempo and set teammates up yet she also scored both off the dribble and from the outside
Raniyah Hunt-5’7 SG (Little Elm)
Hunt has always been “in the HUNT” simply because of her mindset and with her zig-zagging by defenders in the open court at a young age and dropping the stop and pop, I knew big things were coming and she too was under control on both ends of the floor and I’m seeing her and Kimpson as one of the top freshmen backcourt in Texas coming up
Aaliyah Chavez Aaliyah Chavez 5'9" | PG Monterey | 2025 State TX -5’9 PG (Monterey)
Chavez is ELECTRIFYING with the ball and although the footage was foggy, I knew exactly who she was. She also dropped 50 recently, highlight video showed her scoring between her legs and I know it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against but she can “JUST DO IT” against just about anyone on WHATEVER platform she’s on, why, because I called her a #D1Lock in the 4th or 5th grade that’s why so her pull-up jumper, check, her court vision, check, her blistering no-look passes, another check plus her defense has always been there, she’s just taken it to another level
Mylee Guinn-5’11 SG (Frisco)
Guinn showed she could create her shot and knock it down. I’ve seen articles about her, the last name had me use the search bar, and she definitely has some skills, and coupled with her size, her upside is definitely solid
Mecallin Marshall-5’11 SG/SF (Lubbock)
Marshall did a good job of handling the ball under pressure, her court vision is solid, so were her passes yet she has a nice first step which allows her to get to the rim, nice upside
