Jenna Van Schaik Jenna Van Schaik 5'10" | CG Ursuline Academy | 2022 OH , 5-4 2022, Ursuline Academy- As the point guard for this talented team, Jenna was very much in control and poised as she took command of the game. She showed good leadership skills and was a key playmaker as her team earned a tough win. She moves well without the ball and is able to get into position to best produce for her team. She helps out her teammates well and has good hands. Solid defender.
Kate Stuhlreyer, 6-3 2022, Ursuline Academy- She possesses good size and is an agile player. At first look she would appear to be a true post, but it didn’t take long to determine that she can hurt you in many ways. She is solid around the basket but is a mismatch problem for her opponent as she is very effective on the perimeter with a good outside game, with good range.
Abby Boeing, 6-1 2022, St. Ursula- Impressive player around the basket, is a good rebounder and does a good job protecting the rebound. She is a strong physical player and one thing she does is looks to get the ball out. Showed me a good pick-and-pop game with good court sense. Defensively can body up her opponent and works hard on her defensive game.
Skyler Ward, 5-9 2022, National Trail- She is a player who is flying under the radar. Skilled and a solid senior leader, Skyler has good handles, she is able to score with good range or can put the ball on the floor. Smart player who plays within the offense, he also distributes the ball well to her teammates. Excellent on-ball defender with good active hands. She dropped 26 on the night I saw and was very efficient with her game, shooting 10-14 from the floor.
Taryn Dewberry, 5-8 2022, West Carrollton- I got to see the Pirates against Tippecanoe, and one thing Dewberry brings to the table is defense. She will play hard and can get physical at times, but her game is steady. Averaging over three steals per game, which can turn into points for her team. Showed the ability to score, most proficient close to the paint. Unsigned senior.
Cadence Boyd, 5-5 2022, Monroe- Always impressed with the effort she gives, she scored most of her points on this night from the free throw line. Can get to the rim and make it happen, good first step and strong player for her size. Does have range. Solid on-ball defender with the ability to create turnovers which leads to chances for her team. Good senior leader who sees the floor well and can distribute.
