Amani Lipscomb Amani Lipscomb 5'2" | PG Houston | 2024 State TN – What she lacks in size she makes up for it with heart. With her transferring to maize south they quickly added someone who can compete and be a difference maker for them right away. As she already has been doing for them, bringing them a ball handler, someone who can push the tempo, get into the teeth of the defense with her driving ability and even spreading the floor and hitting shots when needed, she won’t be one you can forget about. On the defensive side its best to go away from her, she causes havoc on the court with her ability too pick pocket players, coming up with extra possessions on rebounds, and her experience, she may be exactly what the mavericks need to make a run.
Hayden Snodgrass Hayden Snodgrass 5'9" | CG Andover Central | 2024 State KS – the Jaguar knows exactly who they have in Snodgrass. With her great size and physicality being very visible to the naked eye, while she’s a great shooter and helps spread the floor on this loaded team, you can’t fall asleep on the fact that she wants to get to the rim and be physical to put herself on the free throw line. Hayden is also a good ball handler and has spent her fair share of point guard duties playing summer ball, she’s a well versatile player which is exactly what Andover Central will need for years to come.
Sadie Spray- The athletic guard out of great bend defends at a high level and uses her great wingspan to get deflections and steals rather its on ball or in the passing lane. Sadie in the second half of the season has been a sensation for her team when needed the most. Her athleticism and wingspan helps a ton on the offensive side as well. The ability to blow by defenders with her athletic ability or shooting over them with her length, she has been able to put up multiple 20 plus points and 10 rebounds games; look for her to pull a couple more for these off come post season time.
Jillyan Sheldon Jillyan Sheldon 6'2" | C Hays | 2024 KS – The post out of Hays Kansas at 6’3″ makes her one of the best post in the state. With her size not many players have great hands but that doesn’t apply to Sheldon. With her great hands she uses them day in and day out either scoring around the rim or passing it out of the post. Once she gets going she’s tough to stop and once teams realize that she uses it to her advantage and immediately finds her shooters. Jillyan is often double teamed after she scored a few times going over her right shoulder so theres no doubt a counter move has been added to her game making it even more difficult to stop. We all know how tough it is to score at the rim when you have rim protectors and that’s exactly what Sheldon brings to her team by altering and blocking most shots at the rim. If she’s not on your radar now, you may want to get her there.
