#3 Vivian Iwuchukwu-6’3 C (SA Cole) Players First (Up from #12)
Iwuchukwu is good, so good that her “ceiling has no roof” and she could end up being the top prospect in her class for a number of reasons, keep in mind I’m an expert, not an idiot and when you factor in she’s long and athletic, she’s 6’3, has timing out of this worlds and is scoring both inside and outside the paint, well we’ll see
#10 Paris Bradley Paris Bradley 5'10" | SF Hebron | 2024 State TX -5’10 SG (Hebron) Cy Fair EYBL (Up from #35)
Bradley may not be related to Milton but she has game and if you know what you’re looking at, the platform doesn’t matter because she has a college-ready frame and her midrange, not just the way she shoots it but how she creates it under pressure is ahead of her years plus keep in mind college coaches love big guards that can shoot, she can definitely do that
#13 Rian Forestier Rian Forestier 5'11" | SG Brandeis | 2024 State TX -5’10 SG (Brandeis) Players First (Up from #19)
Forestier is another big guard that can shoot, see above, yet her range is around the NBA line and her work ethic and desire to get better plus her BB-IQ attracted me to what I envisioned her becoming and trust me, she’s hard to deal with as she scores off the dribble plus she can see the court
#18 Ashna Tambe Ashna Tambe 5'7" | CG Hockaday | 2024 State TX -5’7 CG ( Hockaday) Team Lex (Up from #27)
Tambe made the move a different team last season and exploded on the scene but she’s making another move since that team disbanded and based on conversations with college coaches about her, I generally say “she’s about to blow up” because she blows by defenders to score, her body control and finishing after contact is solid plus she can run a team and stretch the defense because she can shoot it
#19 Madison Hurta Madison Hurta 5'8" | PG San Marcos Homeschool | 2024 State TX -5’8 SG (San Marcos Homeschool) Austin Elite (Up from #48
Hurta put a HURTING on defenders a few weeks ago when her HOMESCHOOL team came to town for their playoffs yet let me continue to play on words as she’s definitely a HURTA when you give her some room. I caught her initially with Austin Elite, didn’t take me long to realize what I was looking at, good upside
#20 Melinda Winston Melinda Winston 6'0" | PF Alief Hastings | 2024 State TX -6’0 PF (Hastings) Lady Defenders (Up from #37)
Winston is just overpowering inside the paint, she battles for rebounds off the rim and she finishes with players literally hanging on her but alas, she defends inside the paint as well as baseline to baseline and watching her dive on the floor for loose balls generates the #THROWBACK hashtag, oh yeah, she throws shots back too and can face the basket and score
#21 Kiyleyah Parr Kiyleyah Parr 5'5" | CG La Vega | 2024 State TX -5’5 CG (LaVega) (Up from #67) DC Queens Waco
Parr may not be related to Jack, that’s before my time, but she will be a late night hit with her explosiveness to the basket to score as well as her ability to drain the mid to long range with a hand in her face
#22 Shunteria Anumele Shunteria Anumele 5'8" | SG Legacy Sports School of Science | 2024 State TX -5’8 SG (Travis) DFW Elite EYBL (Up from #54)
Anumele finds ways to put the ball in the basket, mid to long range, off the dribble or put backs, yes she hits the boards on both ends yet you won’t be bored watching her energy as she plays the passing lane and defends
#23 Chloe Mann Chloe Mann 5'8" | SG Duncanville | 2024 State TX -5’8 SG (Boswell) Sky Digg Elite (Up from #36)
Mann elevated her game even more from just being long and athletic and being able to to attack and score or drop it from outside . She’s creating her shot better, playing with more poise and that long ball is falling from various zip codes
#25 Adhel Tac Adhel Tac 6'4" | C South Grand Prairie | 2024 State TX -6’4 C (South Grand Prairie) is a NEW ADDITION read more
