2026 Standouts #Next100 Buda
I pride myself in what I do and what I have done and my evaluations especially calling players #D1Lock has been overly accurate for over a decade, since I’ve been doing this so I stress the importance of players placing themselves in front of me, I don’t copy National Evaluators, I didn’t care what they refused to say about my daughter so I certainly don’t care what they say about anyone else’s because this stuff is even more political than it ever was, especially with these showcases popping up ranking players nationally just because you attended the event yet I don’t do novelty or gimmick basketball, I go by what I see and this is what Isaw at the Pass Tha Ball event in Buda
ZoriAnna Collier-5’6 G (SA Finest)
Watching her score off the dribble was nice, so was her creating her shot under pressure for the jumper but she’s long and athletic with range, from deep and good upside
Rebecca Robinson-5’6 G (SA Lady Hoops)
The progression continues, yeah I knew she could score off the dribble and shoot it from mid to long-range yet the maturity on the floor coupled with the intensity on defense also left a positive impression
N’etalya Hurst-5’10 F (SA Lady Hoops)
Good hands and footwork coupled with being “long and athletic” are definite pluses yet her upside is scary because she can also score off the dribble as well as drop the jumper
Taylor Hicks-5’11 F (CE Elite)
Yeah I called a #D1Loc k after she came back from an injury with vengeance and of course, I’m right, there is no me, so observing her punish the defender around the basket, scoring after contact, and rebounding on both ends has her on the verge of exploding
Lacey Matney-5’6 G (Diamondbacks)
Matney was a definite surprise for me because she not only creates her shot under pressure but she takes the defender off the dribble a number of ways including the crossover, no vest needed, yet she has a nice jumper and can catch and shoot
Ryler Wilson-P (Diamondbacks)
Sees the floor well in the set and in the open court yet she also creates her shot nicely as well as battles for rebounds, on both ends, so watching her score on putbacks, after contact is definitely a good sign
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX -5’4 G (Stat Elite)
Already becoming a nightmare to defend because of her explosiveness, the first step is something else, yet she’s under control with the ball going full speed, this includes the open court and she finishes going full speed, nice crossover as well as jumper
Peyton Obringer-5’5 G (SA Lady Hoops)
Understanding how to create contact will be huge in high school yet she sets the defender up nicely to attack, her dropping the jumper consistently helps keep the defender honest but she also did a good job rebounding and defending
Jazelle Scott-5’2 PG (SA Lady Hoops)
Lots of stars by her name from a variety of stations yet her off the dribble finishes showing body control was very good, so was her step back and when you factor in she has very good range, as well as the COP, change of pace, in the open court, awe man
Aryanna Carrera-5’0 G (DBK)
Heady and playing within yourself is always a good thing so her energy on both ends of the court, especially on defense definitely stood out but she also showed she could score off the dribble and finish
Kylie Ortega-5’5 G
Once you understand how to set the defender up, you’re ahead of the game and her deceptive first step got them leaning yet she finished after contact and also scored on putbacks but her playing the passing lane just did it for me
Mya Alston-5’9 G (BTR) OK
Called her a #D1Lock a long time ago so let me add “throw away the key” because she’s long and athletic and scores almost effortlessly in transition as she elevates over defenders yet she also elevates on the jumper and can drop it from mid to long-range
Simone Pryor-5’3 PG (SA Lady Hoops)
From where she was the last time I caught her to now is overly impressive because she was already good but now her range is deeper, she’s poised setting the defender up and can zig-zag through the press with ease but peep this, she scores with ease after the lick and her ceiling has no roof, so not sure if she’s related to Richard but she will definitely be a hit as well
Breanna Breland-5’6 G (Pro Skills)
She told me she had gotten better since I last saw her, she was right because she was impressive a few months ago but she’s on a different level showing the HEZ to get the defender leaning but her first step is so though and she mixes it up with the jumper as well as off the dribble yet watching her go C2C and score and play the passing lane had me nodding my head
Sara McFarlin-5’9 F (SA Lady Hoops)
Long and athletic will always be the base yet her rebounding and handling the ball in the open court was nice, so was her finishing after contact but she plays solid interior defense, well outside the paint as well, and has some good upside
Rilyn Grona-5’1 PG (Fredricksburg)
Also showed the HEZ, yall call it the HEZZIE but her ballhandling under pressure coupled with scoring off the dribble is very nice, so is her court vision, TOUCHDOWNS she through the length of the court for assists as well as her pull-up and “on the ball defense” were solid
Aysia Gholston-5’6 F (SA Lady Hoops)
Solid defender baseline to baseline plus you won’t outwork her and that desire trickles down to her going after the ball off the rim and on the floor but she also did a good job attacking the rim with either hand and finishing
Abby Simon-5’6 PG
Long and athletic with an explosive first step, plenty of players showed this but she also showed she could finish using body control after contact, ahead of her years but she also saw the floor, made solid passes, and defended
Kylie Joseph-5’9 F (Stat Elite)
Finished strongly after contact with ease, that speaks volumes about her power, well so does her battling for everything off the rim yet she understands how to use her body around the basket, nice hands and footwork and she plays the passing lane
Andra Stokes-5’2 G (SA Lady Hoops)
Did a good job on both ends in the 1 on 1 drill, which factored into game situation as she scored off the dribble, handled the ball, and saw the floor yet she also understands how to trap and did a good job defending “on the ball”
Ella Justice-5’5 PG (Magic)
Solid ballhandler that also scores off the dribble but she also showed the HEZ in the open court as well as created her shot under pressure in the set where she dropped the pull-up, she also dropped the stop and pop in transition
Laheily Rivera-5’6 PG (SA Hoops Elite)
Scored off the dribble with ease, deceptive first step yet she also finished after contact but she handled the ball under pressure and dropped jumpers galore with a hand in her face yet her court vision also stood out
Latisha Ornelas (SA Lady Hoops Duke)
The solid first step to get by a defender was there, she also finished after contact but add handled the ball well under pressure and seeing the floor. Her passes were crisp and on the money and she did a good job rebounding on both ends of the court
