Mara Jenson (Van-Far): The 2023 post player was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after leading Van-Far to the championship. She scored 27 points in the championship game victory over Silex despite battling heavy foul trouble. She is strong around the basket with excellent fundamentals, good footwork and a nice shooting touch. She catches the ball well and she can score at a variety of angles in the post.
Sara Grateke (Silex): The 2023 forward scored 16 points in the championship game against Van-Far. She is mobile around the basket and she does an excellent job of sealing defenders for post position. Her footwork is good and she is capable of scoring with either hand inside.
Haley Basket (Van-Far): The 5-10″ 2022 forward scored 13 points in the victory over Silex in the championship game. She is a versatile player who can bring the ball up court then go inside and post up. She also hit a nice pull up jumper in transition. She also did a nice job of drawing fouls inside while being able to deliver good passes.
Braya Smith (Clopton): A 2024 guard who scored 22 points in the Hawks victory over Elsberry in the third-place game. She’s listed at 5’5″ but she operates in the lane like somebody much taller. She had solid moves in the lane and she worked well in the middle of the opposing team’s zone defense. She’s also good in the open court as she delivered some pinpoint passes while on the move.
Mya Pflaskerer (Elsberry): A 5’8″ 2025 guard who scored 12 points in the third-place game against Clopton. She’s a talented young player who is the Indians primary ball handler. She also plays well off the ball as she knows how to read defenses to make moves to get herself open. She could also break the press by attacking off the dribble.
