Dayton Division 2 Sleepers
Ashlee Haupt, 5-5 2024, Brookville- She is having a solid season for the Blue Devils, and is one of their playmakers from the guard spot. She is averaging 7.4 points and 2 steals per game, while being able to handle the ball well and direct the offense along with Jackie Fye,
Ellie Reed, 5-8 2024, Valley View- A great option for the Spartans as she joins Claire Henson Claire Henson 5'11" | PF Valley View | 2022 State OH and Riley Hodson Riley Hodson 5'10" | SG Valley View | 2023 State OH as a solid group of three to lead the way for Valley View. Strong floor presence and a good defensive player Averaging 8.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Katelyn Lemuel, 5-2 2024, Fenwick- Has really become a bigger scorer the last couple of weeks, as she has reached double figures in her last few games. She continues to grow her game and can produce for her team. Averages 7.4 points per game.
Emma Neff, 5-10 2023, Dayton Oakwood- Overlooked by everyone, Emma has put together quite a season for the Jills. She is averaging 13 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. She is a player who has been steady all season, keep an eye on her.
Ellie Meyer, 6-1 2023, Dayton Carroll- A small forward who can get out and run. Able to finish on the break and is productive in the Carroll offense, Averaging just under 9 points per game and 6 rebounds. Solid defender, good court vision,
Tayteum Vigansky, 6-1 2022, Bellefontaine- Solid multi-sport athlete who has chosen softball for her future, she also has some unfinished business with her team during basketball season. Moves well and can score around the paint. Averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds per game, has enjoyed 6 double-doubles in last 7 games.
Maleah Murphy, 5-3 2022, Urbana- fiery guard who is the leader for a team that included some great young talent. She is the quarterback with good court vision and solid handles. Averaging 7.6 points, 3.7 steals and 4.2 assists. Great work ethic when she is on the court,
Megan Lind, 5-9 2025, Greenville- This up and coming rising player has gotten better as the season has progressed. Saw her recently and was impressed with her ability to rebound well, and can score. Still only a freshman, but shows signs of becoming an impact player soon. Averaging 3.4 points and 6.7 rebounds, including 18 in a game recently.
Alainee Risner, 5-7 2023 and Natalie Risner, 5-8 2024, Northwestern- This sister duo has provided a lot of good things this season for Northwestern, and they are a strong combo for their offensive attack Alainee is averaging 125 points and Natalie is at 8.8. Fun to watch these two work together on the court as their games improve.
Samantha Wall, 5-9 2024, Tippecanoe- She is still trying to become consistent in the offense, but she has a lot of natural ability. She can score inside or out, athletic and can hit the boards well. Good range, or can slash to the rim. Look for her game to continue to improve with work in the offseason.
Samara Gibson Samara Gibson 5'8" | SF Dayton Thurgood Marshall | 2024 State OH , 5-7 2024, Thurgood Marshall- Compliments their big scorers well with her ability to run the offense. She leads the Dayton Public Schools in steals and assists and is a point guard slasher, great defender and goes 100% on both ends. She sets the pace for their team.
