In this article, I will look at a few players who are flying under the radar and I expect to be productive in their tournament games.
D4 Sectional Sleepers
Meghan Foster, 5-7 2022, Springfield Catholic Central- She is definitely a key part of this talented team and a very talented player, but she often gets overlooked among this team full of so much talent. Meghan can definitely play, has a very solid perimeter game and does a very good job as a leader for this group. Averaged 9.4 points and 3.6 assists. Hard nosed and always working.
Maggie Anderson, 5-11 2025, Covington- Crucial to the Buccs as they captured a co-championship in the new Three Rivers Conference. As a freshman, she plays above her years, can score (8.4 points per game) and steady from the free throw line. Good court sense and able to run the floor and contribute in transition. Good future ahead for the freshman.
Camryn Gleason, 5-3 2022, Newton- As of this writing, Camryn is still uncommitted. Despite her size, she is not afraid of contact and can get to the rim and score, can slash and finish. Can run the floor well and has good hands. One of her biggest assets is her ability to score from behind the arc. Averaging 12.5 points per game.
Aaliyah Longshaw, 5-7 2022, Yellow Springs- With the majority of the offense going through Angie Smith Angie Smith 5'6" | CG Yellow Springs | 2022 State OH , it is Aaliyah who can also contribute in many ways for the Bulldogs. She is scoring in doubles at 11.2 points with five rebounds per game,
Olivia Skillings, 5-6 2024, Mechanicsburg- Her game has grown so much, she may be too much of a sleeper anymore, but Olivia is still battling for her recognition. Her game is productive and can score big. Averages 12.7 points per game and another key. part of her game is her solid defense, as she can defend on-ball.
Cece Borchers, 5-8 2023, Russia- This very talented team has some outstanding players as their record indicates, and one who is on the rise is the multi-sport standout Cece Borchers. Very solid fundamental player with good hands and the ability to hurt you in many ways. Solid on the boards and a productive scorer.
