Southeast Raleigh dominated Fuquay-Varina on both ends of the floor in their first round conference tournament matchup. The Bulldogs knocked off the Bengals 59-29 to advance to the semifinal round thanks to some stellar individual performances. Prep Girls Hoops NC takes a look at the standouts from this contest.

Southeast Raleigh’s go to scorer [player_tooltip player_id="116897" first="Bobbi" last="Smith"] had a great performance setting the tone from the outside in the first half. It seemed like she couldn’t miss a three the entire first two quarters and it led to a big lead for her team. The ECU commit also made a number of nice passes out of the pick-and-roll and took care of the basketball throughout the night. She’ll certainly be an impact player in Greenville.

[player_tooltip player_id="310738" first="Ziahmiya" last="Adams"] has been another key piece for the Bulldogs throughout the season as a primary ball handler and floor general. She had a couple of tough finishes through traffic and got to the free throw line at will especially in the second half. Adams is only growing and her stock will continue to rise as the high school season winds down and AAU season begins.
<strong>Ayala Durant (Fuquay-Varina 2025 guard)</strong>
Similar to most teams in the Greater Neuse Conference, Fuquay-Varina has a promising freshman guard in Ayala Durant. She plays with pace, defends well, makes hustle plays, and creates a lot of offense off the dribble. Durant will be an interest prospect to watch after being one of the top producers on this Bengals team.
