Ashley Hall (St. Pius X): A 5’9″ wing player who scored 10 points in the championship game. She had some very nice takes to the basket as she could slice into the lane for layups and short jumpers. She could finish well with either hand. She also knocked down a 3-pointer off the catch.
Adanna Anikwe (St. Pius X): A 5’8″ wing player who had good speed and quickness in the open court, but she could also operate in the low post effectively against taller players. She had good head and shoulder fakes and a nice up and under move. She also had active hands on defense on her team’s full court press. She scored 14 points in the championship game against Park Hill South.
Tatum Kells (Park Hill South): A 6’2″ forward who scored 11 points in the championship game and played a very solid game inside at both ends of the court. She was physical and she could catch the ball well and score in traffic. She was also an excellent rebounder who blocked two shots in the game.
Uchenna Anikwe (St. Pius X): A 5’6″ guard who scored eight points in the championship game. She hit a Corner 3-pointer on offense and she could also drive the ball. She was also very active at the top of her team’s full court press.
Gabbie Schultz (Park Hill South): A 5’7″ guard who came up with seven big points in the fourth quarter when the game was in the balance. With South holding a one-point lead, she hit a big 3-pointer to give her team some needed breathing room.
