Well today, I’m going to give you nothing but new names. Every player I mention, it will be for the first time. All of these players are having an impact on their team and deserve to see their name highlighted.
Colleena Bryant (2025, PG, Wayne Memorial)
Bryant is a truly elite freshman in Michigan. The young lead guard plays beyond her years. She’s an efficient scorer, but I’m supremely impressed with how she sees the floor and distributes the ball. Bryant makes assists look easy. Last night she had 11 points and 7 assists in a win.
Rhema Dozier (2024, SG, Holt)
Dozier is developing into a really nice piece to the Holt puzzle. In a lopsided team victory, Dozier was the second leading scorer with 12 points. She’s a player to watch from here on out.
Kennadi Killeen (2024, G/F, Gobles)
Killeen is a really nice all around player that will touch all areas of a stat sheet. She came 1 point away from a double-double in a win over Saugatuck. Killeen had nine points and 11 rebounds.
Ella Richter (2024, SF, Lawton)
Lawton earned a hard fought 39-36 win against Martin. Richter was the catalyst as well as the finisher in the contest. She scored a game high 15 points and it was her late game shot making that sealed the deal.
Ay’Sia Smith (2023, F/C, Bay City Central)
Much like her superstar older sister Alecsis Smith Alecsis Smith 6'2" | C Bay City Central | 2022 State MI , Ay’Sia is a powerhouse in the paint. Her game is showing a ton of growth this season and she’s starting to have a big impact in the paint. She was very impressive with a 14 point game in a win over Flint Powers.
