Orlando Area, under the radar: 2022 <strong>Samara Calso</strong> 2022 5’8” SG Poinciana Calso, a smooth and crafty guard that gets to the basket when there is open space. She can use her body to put herself her the correct position while attacking the basket. Calso also shows the ability to knock down the mid-range shot and three ball. Not yet committed. She is a lefty that can attack to both sides of the goal. She displays a quick release, high arching jump shot. Tough on the defensive end of the floor, she gets on the floor for loose balls and is pest to the opponent’s post player. She is averaging 8.1 points per game for the Grenadiers. She has a nice jump shot and is not afraid to pull up to shoot. As the point guard for the Seminoles, she controls the offense while getting her teammates involved in the game. She is the second leading scorer on the team with 9.8 points per game on the season. Not yet committed. <strong>Jasmine Cheema</strong> 2022 5’0” SG Timber Creek Cheema, a tough and gritty defender that has the ability and quickness to lock up any opponent. She is lightning quick, and has excellent footwork, which allows her to cutoff the defender. She is dumping in 4.4 points per game for Timber Creek, while grabbing almost 3 rebounds per game and only being 5’0”. She is a tall guard that can handle the ball, as an extra point guard for the Hornets. Le scores 5.8 points per game and grabs 3.2 rebounds per game. She is uncommitted. <strong>Megan De</strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>nizard</strong> 2022 5’8” SF East Ridge</span> The 5’9” Senior shooting guard is the do-it all for East Ridge. She is putting in 12.8 points per game, getting 5.7 rebounds per game and leading the team with 3.8 steals per game. She has a consistent jump shot, with the mid-range shot being her shot of choice. She runs the floor on the break, which allows her teammates to find her for easy transition lay-ups.
