South Dakota 2023 Rankings – New Additions

She's a big guard that moves well, with great overall anticipation to her game. She has a smooth and consistent jumper that has great range to it. She'll make you pay on both ends and you can find her making deflections and steals and instantly turning it into offense.</span> [player_tooltip player_id="377622" first="Mariah" last="Siem"] <strong>- 5'8 G 2023 - Sioux Falls Lincoln - </strong>Mariah is a lefty shooter that is aggressive and relentless in shooting and making threes and jumpers. She will take any space given to her and fire up accurate three-balls. Skilled with the ball, especially as a passer on the perimeter. [player_tooltip player_id="342174" first="Leah" last="Williams"] <strong>- 5'8 G/F 2023 - Wolsey-Wessington - </strong>First got introduced to Leah at the PGH Dakotas Top 250 EXPO event in October. She showed she can hang with and compete with top talent. Leah doesn't stand out from a physical standpoint, being 5'8, but she can make all of the plays you need. She has a knack for finding the ball when it's up in the air and in loose ball situations. A three-level scorer that can take on contact and shoot the three as well. [player_tooltip player_id="375369" first="Kate" last="Miller"] <strong>- 5'10 F 2023 - Freeman - </strong>Kate is a beast of an inside scorer and rebounder. Also, finds the ball well with her constant motor and playing strength. I might be a little too low on her ranking and you can expect her to climb up the board in the next update. A very recruitable prospect at the NAIA/D3/JUCO level. A high motor, high IQ, high producing forward prospect. <span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">[player_tooltip player_id="363191" first="Grace" last="Clooten"] </span><strong style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">- 6’0 F/C 2023 - Bell Fourche - </strong>Grace isn't going to "wow" you but she's a fairly athletic and agile six-foot prospect for Bell Fourche. Will work hard to rebound and put her body on opponents. [player_tooltip player_id="389375" first="Cassidy" last="Keiser"] <strong>- 5’10 G/F 2023 - Gregory - </strong>Cassidy is a long, playmaking guard for Gregory. She can handle at length and become a playmaker as a passer. Great first-step quickness and explosion putting the ball on the floor. One of those players that should be talked about much more and is overlooked. [player_tooltip player_id="388635" first="Carlie" last="Lawrence"] <strong>- 5'6 G 2023 - Timber Lake - </strong>Carlie is a scoring guard with a big-time jump-shot. She was simply added to the rankings, with her ranking to be adjusted as we see her more. She's made 33 threes on the season, scoring 18.2 ppg. She's been incredibly consistent, hitting double figures every game. Recently had 24 in a win up against Dupree. [player_tooltip player_id="388659" first="Brandy" last="Pulse"] <strong>- 5’8 G 2023 - McCook Central/Montrose - </strong>Brandy is extremely long for a 5’8 guard. Uses her length well on the defensive side of the ball, with ball pressure and playing passing lanes. She will hound the ball-handler with length and tenacity. [player_tooltip player_id="388980" first="Chloe" last="Crago"] <strong>- 5’6 PG 2023 - Bell Fourche - </strong>Chloe is the definition of a true point guard. She's pass-first and can handle the ball well. She attacks the lane/middle to pass and look for teammates. A great ball-handler but uses her dominant right hand too much.
