MVP announcements are rolling in and there are three from across the state that put together really strong seasons and should see their stock rise as a result. Below are just three prospects that have really been at the top of their game.
2023 5’11 SG [player_tooltip player_id="253513" first="Kylee" last="Fox"] (Richland HS) - The two time MVP winner of the Mid Columbia Conference scored 20+ points per game in a strong all around junior season. Fox is a skilled and talented offensive player that also comes up with some steals and big blocked shots with aggression. A prospect that several colleges should be tracking.
2023 5’7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="389561" first="Payton" last="Torrey"] (Mossyrock HS) - The MVP of the Columbia Valley League put together a monstrous season, fresh off of also winning MVP of the league volleyball. Torrey is a strong athlete who competes on both ends, but she is also a capable three point shooter.
2023 6’1 SF [player_tooltip player_id="267050" first="Claire" last="O’Connor"] (Lakeside HS) - The newly crowned MVP of the Metro League in Seattle. O'Connor is a long, skilled lefty that can score from all three levels. Her offensive skill set translates to the next level and she is being recruited by countless Division 1 programs.
