The top 20-30 ranked prospects in any state tend to get a vast majority of coverage by any media outlet. This is understandable and those player’s accomplishments and ability should be highlighted, but there are always prospects for different levels of college that are also recruitable for some college programs. Below are unsigned prospects listed outside of the top 50 in PGH Washington’s rankings.
2022 5’9 SF [player_tooltip player_id="79200" first="Torree" last="Thomas"] (Fife HS) is a quality athlete with a motor that has excelled for the last four years of high school ball. A double-double threat that takes pride on the defensive end.
2022 5’9 SF [player_tooltip player_id="220601" first="Isabella" last="Spencer"] (Annie Wright) is a big time shooter with a strong frame. Spencer plays with great joy for the game and could definitely help a program in the NWAC.
2022 5’10 PF [player_tooltip player_id="27940" first="Taija" last="Mackey"] (Pasco HS) has been really strong in her senior season. Mackey holds it down in the paint for an otherwise undersized Pasco program that ranks as one of the top 4A teams in the state.
2022 5’7 SG [player_tooltip player_id="319096" first="Keira" last="Slippern"] (Issaquah HS) is a guard that can do some things on the floor with her defense, athleticism and scoring in transition. Slippern is an under the radar kid that could also help an NWAC program.
