Perez had a very quiet Day 2 of the Showcase in terms of flashiness but that does not mean she did not have an impact on the floor. Perez is a well rounded Guard that can hit 3s, finish in the lane and pass well. The Senior does a great job communicating on the floor and has a high basketball IQ. Specifically on the defensive side as she is a terrific off ball defender and help side defender - At one point during a 5 on 5, Perez doubled the post after an entry pass and did it with perfect timing, sliding down right when the offensive player dribbled the ball forcing her to stop her move and lose the ball.
