2023
Fallon Green 5’11 Post/ Worthing HS
Green has a strong body, does a nice job finishing around the basket as well as rebounding on both ends of the court. Nice hands and footwork as well
Breniyah Shelton 5’10 Post/ Goose Creek HS
Shelton is long and athletic, tough on the ball defender that also rebounded strongly as well as put the ball on the floor from the wing to attack and finish
Amani Edwards 5’6 Wing/ Goose Creek HS
Edwards goes all out on defense, dives for loose balls on the floor, keep in mind this was a practice, yet she also “mans up” in a hunnid and had me smiling as she played the passing lane
Dakota Watson 5’5 Guard/ Lutheran South HS
Watson understands how to score in the flow, she creates her shot under pressure and can knock it down, mid to long-range, yet she doesn’t force anything, also scores off the dribble
Cyndol Davis 5’5 Guard/ Alief Taylor HS
Davis is athletic, handles the ball under pressure, and has a nice first step that enables her to get by the defender with ease to score yet she also has nice court vision and defended well
2024
Shyla Houston 6’0 Wing/ Goose Creek HS
Houston is long and athletic, has nice timing to block shots, also rebounds and defends, and scores off the dribble as well as around the rim
Momina Kassim 5’9 Wing/ C.E. King HS
Kassim does so many things that you won’t see on a stat sheet that turn out to be big things but she can score off the dribble, showing a nice stop and pop in transition, and defends well
Mahalia Twine 5’5 Guard/ Huntsville HS
Twine untangles on defense with her quick hands and “on the ball” pressure yet she also blows by defenders with a blink of an eye to either score or dish, while going full speed and in the open court, just get back
2025
Chifum Ibekwe 5’9 Wing/ St. Thomas Episcopal
Ibewkwe is strong around the basket, can score inside the pant as well as rebound on both ends of the court. She also plays solid defense and has good upside
Khaliah Flores 5’2 Guard/ Sam Rayburn HS
Flores is a heady point guard that understands how to control the tempo and get others involved and with her solid court vision, yeah she can get the ball to her teammates yet she also can drop the mid to long-range as well as score off the dribble
