She moves laterally with ease and plays the passing lanes very well. Peterson also rebounded the ball very well from the guard position.
Jonice Barcene 2024 G (pictured on right) was really impressive at the showcase. Her handles were probably the best on the court, and her ability to get to the rim was the strongest part of her game. In the showcase, she was effective in shooting from all three levels on the court. She did a good job making plays out of the pick and roll game – passing and shooting. Barcene was effective getting to the rack on the left and right sides. She shot six free throws as a result of her aggressive drives to the basket.
Clare Coyle Clare Coyle 6'1" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL 2024 F was really impressive at the Showcase. She rebounded well and scored on the inside. Coyle is a workhorse on the court. She does a great job in the paint and has an array of moves to create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Coyle ran the floor well in the transition game. She filled the lanes and also also handled the ball during transition at times. She does a good job of passing to open shooters when she doesn’t have a shot. Coyle brings energy and toughness for the entire game.
Sydney Roundtree Sydney Roundtree 6'0" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL 2024 F showed a lot of versatility during the Showcase. She is another player whose athleticism jumps off the page. She was just as impressive on defense, recording several blocked shots in the contest. Williams was also very strong on the offensive and defensive boards. She was one of the most dominant players on the court.
Ella Stakem Ella Stakem 5'7" | SG Bolles HS | 2024 State FL 2024 G. Stakem was solid as usual on the perimeter. She hit some long-range bombs and a clutch three-pointer to ice the game. Stakem is not shy about pulling the trigger anywhere on the court. She does a good job of handling the ball and has a good midrange and float game to compliment her three point shooting.
Gabriel Bush 2024 G/SF showed some versatility on the court. She had a nice shooting touch from behind the arc and showed an ability to drive to the basket. For a guard, Bush has nice length and will be a matchup problem for smaller guards.
