Nya Dame (2026) did a great job driving hard to the basket drawing her defenders to open up the court for her teammates. She comes out of nowhere on defense locking up her opponents no matter who she is guarding. She used her ball handling to get around her opponents even when they were trying to press her.
Lillian Barnes (2026, featured photo) uses her height to grab rebounds, and she was excellent at pushing the ball up the court herself on fast breaks making nice passes to her teammates cutting up the court. She was all over the court running on a fast break on one end and the very next play getting inside for the board as she flashed hard into the paint. She jumped passing lanes anticipating what the offense was trying to do, and these steals converted to points on the other end. She knew how to keep moving the ball to shift the defense making smart passes to her teammates to score their own points.
Trinity Wilburn (2026) read her defenders well making them move out of her way before she went up to the basket. She had an excellent crossover from the perimeter, and she moves well without the ball finding the gaps on defense. She uses some nice jab steps, too, to drive hard to the basket finishing at the rim for two points. She even got inside to grab rebounds.
Maya Layton (2026) hustled back on defense showing off her shot blocking ability. She ran the floor even having a blocked shot that turned into a steal and two points for herself on the other end. She can handle the ball well and had some nice fakes to get around her opponents on the way to two points by the basket. She adjusted her body well to make her shot showing a nice floater in the paint. She directed her teammates where to go pointing to the opening on the court in order for her to make a nice pass to them.
Lillie Graves (2027) has some good height on her that she uses to block shots and grab steals after anticipating the passes. She can play around the perimeter, or she can flash to the block for some points. She followed shots well, and she was effective putting the ball back up through the hoop on the offensive side.
