<p class="p1">The playoffs have been in full swing for high schoolers in North Carolina in both private and public.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are some of the standout 2022s that I have seen over the past week.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Anna-Giannopoulou-crop-828x544-1646354273.jpeg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-395982 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Anna-Giannopoulou-crop-828x544-1646354273-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="219884" first="IoAnna" last="Giannopoulou"]</b> (Myers Park, SF) was crucial in the game against North Meck grabbing rebounds.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her height is certainly an asset on both ends of the court making sure that her opponents didn’t have any second chances, and she was able to put them back up with ease for her own points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She converts well from the free throw line battling through contact.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Kristynn-Knight-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354321.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-395984 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Kristynn-Knight-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354321-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="197085" first="Kristynn" last="Knight"] </b>(Winston Salem Christian, G) was a good facilitator on offense constantly moving to get a play going for her team, and she can definitely handle the ball controlling the tempo for her team.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her cuts were fun to watch flashing in the paint with perfect timing.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can get all the way to the hoop or stop suddenly for a jump shot.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>Maya Hood </b>(NC GBB, SF) had a nice spin move into a jump shot scoring two points for her team.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She timed her cuts well with the ball driving in the paint for some points getting around her opponents.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can push the ball up the court with ease finding her open teammates or take it all the way herself.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="219898" first="Emily" last="Hege"]</b> (North Davidson, G, pictured above) is certainly showing off why she is an excellent shooter knocking them down from deep whether she is contested or not.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was diving on the floor going after loose balls, and she didn’t shy away from scoring through contact near the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was following shots, too, to grab rebounds, and her steals were instrumental in stopping her opponents from scoring.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She even showed off some nice power dribbles off of offensive rebounds to get some points with her versatility.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Mary-Spry-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354388.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-395986 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Mary-Spry-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354388-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="260170" first="Mary" last="Spry"]</b> (Jesse Carson, SF) continues to show why she is ready for the collegiate level.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was pushing the ball up the court with nice passes or releasing on a fast break herself to get the pass and bucket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can knock down shots from deep making a nice three pointer as the first half came to a close to make sure her opponents knew her team wasn’t going away.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her rebounding was instrumental, especially on the offensive side of the ball putting it back up for some points.</p>
<p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Hannah-Isley-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354442.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-395988 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Hannah-Isley-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1646354442-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>Hannah Isley </b>(Jesse Carson, G) was scoring on all levels, and she battled through contact for her points making sure nothing stopped her from scoring.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She followed shots and was grabbing rebounds out of nowhere making sure her opponents didn’t have any second chances.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She did a nice job finding her open teammates showing off her vision of the court.</p>
