Here is a list of the girls that were nominated to the CIFSS All CIF Teams in each perspective divisions, most are the MVP’s of the game and the heavy hitters from each team that represented in the playoffs. Here are some evals on the girls in this list for those we have seen this season and during the summer club seasons, hope you enjoy.
MVP - [player_tooltip player_id="393743" first="Brooklyn" last="Shamblin"] - Shamblin still has another year until she hits high school, but she’s done well playing against older competition. She’s a natural floor leader with great instincts and court awareness. Advanced in her ability to run an offense as a lead guard. She’s comfortable getting her own shot against older players and she’s a knockdown shooter from midrange and from three. She can see the floor, composed under defensive pressure, and can find open teammates. High upside.
[player_tooltip player_id="54104" first="Omamoke" last="Okah"] - Young post player that can run the floor, finish at the rim with either hand, blocks shots on a regular for her team. She is still developing on the offensive end of the floor, but her abilities are apparent, she can score it in bunches and is one the better rebounders in the area. She has major upside, but will have to develop that over the shoulder left or right post game. She is young and will improve with leaps and bounds.
[player_tooltip player_id="162830" first="Kelly" last="Lotz"] - Lotz stood out for how gritty she consistent play. She’s a guard that has 1 gear, FAST! Lotz also got to the rim with ease finishing with power and finesse. Her pace created open shots for her teammates and blow by layups for herself.
[player_tooltip player_id="305461" first="Katherine" last="Csiszar"] - Csiszar is a what you call a solid post center for her school, she is tough, she has size and she is one of the better rebounding centers at her height. She can run the floor, get to the box and seal her opponent for scores underneath the rim. She is a good teammate and leads her team on the floor, which is very good for the teams morale. Again, her rebounding skills are very good, we were really impressed with that part of her game.
