Meredith Mayes Meredith Mayes 6'3" | C Bixby | 2023 State OK -6’2 W (Bixby HS OK) Team Griffin Elite 2023 Wernli
Mayes is long and athletic, first-time readers “that is the base” I use for profiles, well one of the bases, yet she covered quite a few by showing a few things that will have her on countless shortlists of college coaches. First of all. she can shoot the ball and watching her create her shot and drop it mid to long-range got my adrenaline going yet she also can handle the ball well enough to score from the wing as well as in the open court “off the dribble”
Aubrey Hishaw Aubrey Hishaw 5'9" | SF Tulsa Union | 2023 State OK -5’10 (Union HS OK) Team Griffin Select 2023 Cobbins
Hishaw is also long and athletic, that’s still the base but she also showed power off the dribble, and with a nice first step, she attacked the basket and finished after contact and I wrote OD down so much, off the dribble. that I became sick because her game is very smooth and deliberate but she applies heart on defense, on the ball, and played the passing lane and the pull-up jumper was just an extra plus as she kept adding more
Hannah Ayala-6’1 W (Immanuel Christian HS) El Paso Lady Hurricanes 2023 [2024]
Ayala is long and athletic, should have just done the “copy and paste” thing but what I enjoyed more than anything was watching her go after the ball off the rim, on both ends. She has that “you won’t outwork mindset” and she certainly finishes after contact but she also showed versatility as she scored facing the basket. Solid defender, both in and outside the paint, nice upside
Fia Filoialii- 5’7 G (Katy Taylor HS) Texas Cagers Select 2024 [2024]
Filoialii has a nice frame and understands how to use it to her advantage and observing her attack from, well anywhere she wanted was nice because she created her shot under pressure and her shot is what gave her options because defenders couldn’t give her too much room, if they did, see ya yet her body control, even after the licks was nice
Brooke Bettis Brooke Bettis 5'6" | PG Tulsa Union | 2025 State OK -5’5 CG (Union HS OK) EYG 2024 [2024]
Bettis showed me a bundle in a short span of time, been doing this long enough to know what I’m looking at and it started with the HEZ in the open court, the new era calls it the HEZZIE, back in the day, it was simply hesitation yet whatever you want to call it, she creates some problems using it because she can drop the jumper, with a hand in her face or she can blow by the defender with ease
Karizma Johnson-5’4 G (Jones HS OK) Team Griffin Select 2024 Funderbunk [2025]
Johnson was one of many on this squad that just got me going, maybe it was her explosive first step or the explosions going through my head watching her drop NBA three-pointers, I’m not sure but I am sure that her ability to play “on the ball” defense baseline to baseline was equally as important, to me, because it helped create turnovers
Adrianna Robles-5’5 PG (Fossil Ridge) Team Stay Ready 2023 [2025]
Robles club coaches, the Readys, go way back with me when my hair was all black so they know how this used to be and when they tell me something, I pay attention so watching her smoothness at the 1 had me smiling because she is “poised under pressure”, can score off the dribble, better yet, her court vision gives her options because she not only sees the floor in the set or open court, she can make the pass “off the dribble” but wait, as I fade to black, her mid to long-range ain’t nothin to be played with
