No. 51: Aniah Rodgers Aniah Rodgers 5'8" | SF Pemberton | 2024 State NJ – 5-8 SF, Pemberton
Rodgers had herself quite the sophomore season for Pemberton, averaging nearly 10.0 PPG while hauling in 5.1 rebounds a game. The Hornets have really benefitted from her three-point shooting, knocking down 21 on the season. Roughly a quarter of her scoring comes from beyond the arc, which gives her scoring stability, but also opens the floor for more scoring opportunities. There’s a lot of promise in her inside game and for her to really expand her shooting range.
No. 36: Amarilis Shubick Amarilis Shubick 5'6" | PG Perkiomen | 2025 PA – 5-4 PG, St. Thomas Aquinas
While Shubick is undersized at point guard, she’s considerably made up for it as a shooter. Her perimeter shooting has emerged as one of the best in the state, knocking down 2.7 threes a game as a sophomore. She led the Trojans in three-point shooting and was second in both assists and steals, showing great variety and balance in her game. Shubick’s passing has really come along this season as she’s utilized open passing lanes on a more consistent basis. With more than 60 percent of her offense coming from three, we’ll be watching to see how much that improves this summer.
No. 46: Siobhan Stapleton Siobhan Stapleton 6'0" | C Trinity Hall | 2024 State NJ – 6-0 C, Trinity Hall
Playing the traditional five role in the frontcourt, Stapleton shows great aggression as a forward and finishes tough in the lane. You’ll be seeing her probably averaging a double-double next season after 8/8 averages in her sophomore year. Three components of her game stand out besides her natural ability to score and rebound in the lane: shot-blocking, overall defense and shooting. At 6-0, Stapleton has a smooth shooting motion and can knock down the three at a high clip. Her shot-blocking and defense go hand-in-hand as when one is on, both are on. Her height definitely gives her that extra advantage on the defensive end.
No. 52: Madison Vitucci Madison Vitucci SG South River | 2024 State NJ – SG, South River
South River has produced a number of great talents in recent years and Vitucci is the next name to enter the mix. While her overall scoring average took a dip as a sophomore, her shooting, passing and defensive numbers either stayed the course or improved considerably. Her perimeter defense is something to really hone in on for the 2022-23 season because her steals per game jumped. That definitely has something to do with experience because the more you have, the easier the game will come to you.
No. 44: Emily Poulas Emily Poulas 5'7" | SG Jefferson Township | 2024 State NJ – 5-7 SG, Jefferson Township
Jefferson Township made a considerable run in the postseason this year, much of that on the backs of the sophomore shooting guard Poulas, who hit 70 three-pointers this year alone. Poulas specializes as a perimeter shooter and definitely knows how to hit shots in bunches, recording 11 games with 3+ made three-pointers this season. That consistency plus great footwork off the catch-and-shoot and great ball movement makes Poulas a must-watch player next season.
