2022 Rocky Mountain Mayhem: 16U 1st Team Selections

The 2022 Rocky Mountain Mayhem was a great event held at Gold Crown Fieldhouse over the weekend (May 14th & 15th) in Denver, Colorado that featured talented players and teams from the States of Colorado and Kansas. The 16U Division was filled with skilled backcourt and frontcourt players with different abilities and facets to each of their respective games. These are the players who earned Rocky Mountain Mayhem 1st Team Honors because of their abilities, attitude, consistency and individual performances. <hr /> <img class="size-medium wp-image-430578 alignright" style="text-align: center;" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/C92E848F-7AA2-4843-BB84-2DD8F175A847-300x300.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />   Carmin Arkin - State 38 2024 Carmin Arkin is an offensive scorer in the frontcourt who PUNISHES opposing forwards and smaller guards with good footwork and post position in the lane but can also shoot the mid range jumper. Arkin is a big physical forward that plays with good energy who rebounds well on either end of the floor.   <hr /> Addison Harding - NOCO Triple Threat 2024 Addison Harding is a Forward who likes to play bully ball. Harding is a talented post player with GREAT footwork who has a variety of offensive moves - up and unders, drop steps, step thru's - Addison can also face up at the elbow or top of the key, drive into the paint use a pivot or just go up against the defender and score. Klein has DEEP RANGE but does not always settle for the 3ball; She can penetrate and kick, and deliver on point outlet passes on the fast break to her teammates for easy shots and buckets. Olivia is an all-around guard who makes the games easier for her teammates.   <hr />   Maddie Moyers - Colorado Basketball Club 2024 UAA <img class="size-medium wp-image-430577 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/16F62404-6530-485A-AB9B-0D737FA1767B-300x300.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /> Maddie Moyers moves well without ball and is a DEADLY catch and shoot 3pt shooter who does not second guess herself or shot selection. Maddie can hit from anywhere on the floor; Moyers' is money from the corner, wing, top of the key, you name it! Maddie has good size and runs the floor well allowing her team have good spacing in transition for early offense making her a tough matchup.     <hr /> <img class="size-medium wp-image-430584 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/3422594A-9F8A-4BF3-B598-73330F7A5642-300x300.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />   [player_tooltip player_id="361386" first="Ezra" last="Simonich"] - Colorado Basketball Club 2024 UAA [player_tooltip player_id="361386" first="Ezra" last="Simonich"] is a complete guard who is very VERSATILE on both sides of the court - Ezra can score with the best of them, and play suffocating defense - A multi-level scorer from inside and outside the 3pt line and defensive stopper who applies constant pressure and has great instincts which results in multiple steals and forced turnovers.
