I’m not a novice evaluator, who scores how many points, who wins games, none of that relevant when you have been doing this as many years as I have and watching a small school like Canyon win a Holiday Tournament with no D1 players, maybe a couple of D3’s, defeat numerous 6A teams with multiple D1 players is probably over the heads of many on the point I’m taking but quit focussing on the meaningless because it all falls into "it’s not what you do, it’s who you d it against" SIMPLE yet here is part 2. Madison Taylor-5’3 CG (Austin Elite Sparks) Taylor is poised under pressure and stays under control. Good court vision also handles the ball well while being defended and sees the floor whether in the set or attacking and dishing but she also scores off the dribble Ratanna Owen-5’3 CG (Austin Elite Sparks) Owen has that SWB acronym, speed with the ball, under control, yet she also has good court vision, scores off the dribble, and even has a nice"catch and shoot" in her toolbox Nadine Adeleke-5’5 G (Austin Elite Sparks) Adeleke elevates on her jumper, that’s good because her pull-up could develop into her "go-to" because it looks good, and her release and follow-through are solid, she also can attack from the wing Parker Featherston-5’7 G (Austin Elite Sparks) Featherstone is leaving no stone unturned as she has definitely improved and added and one thing that really grabbed me was her "catch and shoot" from anywhere. Midrange also looks good and creates her shot well Azaariya Franklin-5’9 SF (Player First) Franklin discovered her lightning first step was indeed electric but she’s long and athletic, that’s still the base, and her upside is very good, so history buffs that messed that, I’ll definitely be looking at her progression Rebecca Robinson-5’5 SG (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Robinson is another player that told me "I do more than shoot the 3" and I guess her playing the passing lane as well as solid defense makes that a correct statement, so does her seeing the floor yet I love watching that mid to long-range Sarah McFarlin-5’10 PF (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) McFarlin is another player I’d drop Most Improved if I made a team from middle school yet she has so many things you can’t teach, DESIRE s definitely one of them plus she goes hard the whole game so off the rim, o the floor, she’s on it but she’s also finishing stronger, with contact Cora Bennett-5’11 PF (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Bennett is long and athletic, hopefully, you got that by now but get this, her ceiling has "NO ROOF" because, with her size, wingspan, and doing things fluidly, that’s also part of the base so her timing was impressive, as well as her rebounding and then she showed she could score around the rim Jordan Rosenthal-5’3 CG(San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Rosenthal might wind up taking over most memes I’ve done as she is already amongst the leaders but more importantly is her playing under control, she handles the ball and sees the floor under pressure, and passes are on target yet she also makes the defender thing because she can drop te jumper HONORABLE MENTION * All Players Were Not Seen or SEEN ENOUGH OF Nadia Adeleke-5’6 (Austin Elite Sparks) Kendall Lewis-5’8 (Austin Elite Sparks) Braelyn Gray-5’8 (Austin Elite Sparks) [2027 Sydney November-5’4 (Austin Elite Sparks) Kaelyn Wosley-5’9 (SA Infinity Green) Ashley Johnson-5’7 (Boerne Extreme) Cassidy Breuer-5’7 (Boerne Extreme) Zoey Yanez-5’8 (Player First) Isa Espinoza-5’6 (Player First) BreAnn Breland- 5’5 (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Peyton Obringer-5’4 (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Latisha Ormelas-5’1 (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Alisa Hilario-5’5 (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon) Armina Ruiz-5’6 (San Antonio Lady Hoops Maroon)
