2024 5-9 PG [player_tooltip player_id="252268" first="Gabbie" last="Grooms"] – Southeast All-Stars Red – Landmark Christian The strength and physicality of Grooms allows her to impact games in a variety of ways. She’s a rugged rebounder and a threat to go coast-to-coast. Defenders rarely bump Grooms off her line when she’s attacking the rim. Gabbie plays point guard but has the versatility to play 1-4 at the high school level. She can create mismatches with her outside shot and strong handle, able to score from all three levels. Grooms tallied 7 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in a win over DME. Georgia Southern offered after the event. 2023 5-9 PG [player_tooltip player_id="384286" first="Diana" last="Collins"] – Southeast All-Stars Black – Brookwood Diana didn’t have one of her typical sparkling offensive outputs, but that didn’t stop her from putting her imprint on the game. Collins’ on-ball defense was terrific in a tough 67-59 loss to Player First. Diana showcased quickness with both her hands and feet. She harassed Player First’s smaller guards and was able to pry away steals and get in transition. Though her shot wasn’t falling, Collins still sank a pair of threes and had a pretty left-handed drive. She was able to create at a high level for her teammates, showing touch on her entry passes to Chloe Kitts. Collins finished with 13 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals in front of a bevy of Power 5 coaches. 2023 5-10 F [player_tooltip player_id="434292" first="Ciara" last="Turner"] – D. Shine Lady Grinders – Laney Turner is a rough and tumble grinder that bangs inside and can hit open shots from the mid-range. She aggressively goes after rebounds and can overpower opponents for 50/50 balls. Turner has inside-out capabilities and handles the ball well enough to be a threat to push the length of the floor after securing rebounds. In a 63-55 win over FGB, Turner tallied 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. 2025 5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="434284" first="Skyler" last="Brady"] – L.E. Elite 2023 – Jefferson Jefferson never lacks shooters. Rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="434284" first="Skyler" last="Brady"] will crack the rotation this upcoming season thanks to her ability to get hot from beyond the arc. Brady caught fire in a 64-53 win over Hoopers NY 2024, sinking four threes. The softball star has pretty form and doesn’t need a ton of space to fire accurately. She’s quick-footed and provides energy on defense. Brady could be a very valuable 3&D guard for the Dragons. 2023 5-10 W [player_tooltip player_id="434291" first="Maci" last="Shelnut"] – L.E. Elite 2023 – White County Length and versatility on the perimeter are hallmarks of [player_tooltip player_id="434291" first="Maci" last="Shelnut"]’s game. She’s an important piece for White County with her ability to cause mismatches. She’s a knockdown three-point shooter but also can put the ball on the floor and slice to the rim. Defensively, she can guard both on the perimeter and in the post. Shelnut netted 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal on Sunday. 2025 5-4 PG [player_tooltip player_id="302978" first="Emeri" last="Billings"] – L.E. Elite 2023 – Jefferson [player_tooltip player_id="302978" first="Emeri" last="Billings"] proved that great point guards don’t have to score in order to control games. The pass-first playmaker did a great job handling the ball and setting up teammates in L.E. Elite’s 64-53 win. Billings was able to beat pressure and get the ball to her shooters. Emeri has a low center of gravity and a tight control of the ball. Aside from her facilitating, it was her rebounding that really stood out. She aggressively attacked caroms and limited any second chance opportunities for her opponent. Emeri compiled 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. 2024 5-10 W [player_tooltip player_id="434290" first="Zoe" last="Burkett"] – L.E. Elite 2023 – White County Burkett is a toolsy glue-guy. With her length and activity, she plugs up any holes her team has. She can hit the corner three, rebound in a crowd and make the right decisions as a passer. Zoe has switchability on defense with her size, giving her even more upside. She did a little bit of everything on Sunday with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. 2023 5-7 CG [player_tooltip player_id="213468" first="Hannah" last="Cail"] – Southeast All-Stars White – Calvary Day A productive offseason after a big junior year has [player_tooltip player_id="213468" first="Hannah" last="Cail"] steadily climbing up recruiting boards. She looks comfortable playing either guard position and has picked up her pace in decision making. Cail is a deadly three-point shooter and has impressed as a drive-and-kick playmaker. Multiple D-I schools are tracking. 2025 5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="434289" first="Hailey" last="Hiddema"] – Georgia Flames – East Forsyth Built like a rock, the physical guard is a lights out three-point shooter when her feet are set. She sank four triples as the Flames raced past Southern Sky 2023. Hiddema’s strength can help her become an above average defender and tough-nosed rebounder for her size.
