Amaya Guess (Earl Watson Academy 16U): A smooth 5’8″ combo guard from Park Hill who has a bit of an old-school flair to her game. While she doesn’t look like she’s moving fast, she was consistently breaking down defenders and getting by them on the way to the basket. That’s how smooth she looked out there. She has a very effective mid-range jumper to go along with her variety of floaters and runners in the lane.
Allyssa O’Connor (St. Louis Phenom-Mantz 15U): The 5’8″ southpaw from Park Hills Central displayed her smooth handles and excellent 3-point shooting throughout the weekend. She handled the ball well against pressure and she never allowed herself to get sped up. When she wasn’t knocking down perimeter jumpers, she was delivering some pinpoint passes to open teammates for easy buckets.
Taylor McCallister (MO Phenom-Bell 15U): A 5’6′ point guard from Rock Bridge is a solid floor leader for a very talented team. She plays the top of the press very well with her ability to get deflections and be disruptive. She distributes the ball well and she can push the ball and slow it down. She can also hit the open 3-pointer when needed.
Kodie Gordon (St. Louis Phenom-Madyun 16U): A 5’6″ point guard from Pattonville who is physically strong and has tremendous court vision. I was very impressed with ability to find teammates from a variety of angles, whether it was in the half court game or in transition. She can also shoot it from the perimeter and break down defenders on the drive.
Camryn Caldwell (St. Louis Phenom-Mantz 15U): A 5’3″ guard from Owensville who is an excellent shooter from 3-point range. She knows how to move without the basketball and she’s always finds herself in the right spot. She is also a solid ball handler and decision maker with the basketball as she had a very good chemistry with backcourt partner Allysa O’Connor.
Brooklynn Masten (SHOtime Basketball): A 5’7″ guard who is strong on the drive and is constant putting pressure on the defense by getting downhill on the dribble. She does a good job of keeping defenders between her and the ball as she keeps her head up to keep the offense going. She seeks the contact and can score in traffic. She is also a very good passing threat who can drop some nice dimes on the move.
Paige Sheppard (Midwest United 15U): A 5’2″ point guard from Cardinal Ritter who played a solid overall floor game. She’s a smaller player, but she’s strong and very crafty on the dribble so she can get where she needs to go on the court. She distributes the ball well and is capable of getting in the lane for a nice runner.
Natyiah Ewing ( Team Blackout 17U): A 5’6″ point guard from Capital City who did a nice job while playing up at the 17U level. She handled the basketball well and she did a good job of distributing the basketball. She also had a fearless streak when it came to attacking the basket. She was able to get downhill comfortably on a number of occasions.
Zoe Bentley (Southeast Dynasty 15U): A 5’6″ point guard from Chaffee who has a high energy style of play. She can apply good defensive pressure while hawking the ball. She is a reliable 3-point shooter and a very capable passer who does a good job at feeding the post to her two 6’0″ teammates inside for easy buckets.
Kenadi Harrison Kenadi Harrison 5'7" | CG Helias Catholic | 2025 State MO (MO Phenom 15U-Stone): A 5’5″ point guard from Helias who is a roadrunner on the basketball court. She takes advantage of her speed at both ends of the court, especially on the defensive end as she can apply end to end pressure. She is also a blur in the open court where she can also break full court pressure by herself at times.
Terryn Ford (Kansas Eclipse 16U): A 5’6″ point guard from Notre Dame de Sion who is an impressive two-way player who plays the game with a lot of intensity. She can power her way into the lane with her strength to score and she is very good at distributing the basketball. She can also ring the bell from 3-point range when left open. She is also a solid defender who will sit down and also pick a pocket to start the fast break going the other way.
