This I-90 Elite team immediately stood out to me because of the way they work together. Their entire roster lacks one quality: selfishness.

McLeod is their leader who is very sharp and has a high IQ of the game. She has great court vision and ends games with very few turnovers making her a solid player you want to control your offense. She communicates and guides people in the right direction. McLeod dribbles with her head up and shoulder down ready to read the defense as the play develops, never pre-determining what’s going to happen.

Krysztof made it clear she is the shooter of this team as she knows her role very well and that’s to shoot the ball and shoot with confidence. Krysztof is strong mentally. What separates the successful shooters from the ones that hold themselves back is whether or not you can stay in the game mentally when you’re not making shots and Krysztof did exactly that. She was able to get in a rhythm, knocking down shots in the second half of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="415921" first="Bella" last="Pucci"] ’23 | 5’9" | PG
I really liked Pucci’s style of play. She quickly proved she is a playmaker that reads the floor well and consistently has good games. She is a very active player always moving around trying to make something happen or help a teammate get open. You can trust Pucci to not only handle the ball under pressure having complete control but bring the ball up with force and drive with purpose.

[player_tooltip player_id="422314" first="Mechalle" last="Cancer"] ’23 | 5’9" | SG
Cancer is as tough as they get, always playing with heart and determination throughout the entire game. She is a fighter and will get her hands dirty but plays smart and won’t end up in foul trouble. It is rare to see her take a play off as she goes after every rebound on both ends of the floor. Cancer will run you down and make you work every play.

[player_tooltip player_id="415004" first="Sydney" last="Hart"] ’23 | 5’9" | PG
While I mentioned Hart in my article about the top standout guards you couldn’t miss from the Spooky Nook tournament, I couldn’t leave her out of this article. She plays such a vital role on the team being their biggest offensive threat. Being so mentally sharp and focused while also being a very mature player overall makes her a key player in any game she is in.
