PGH Legacy Classic: 15U All-Tournament Team
Here are this weekend’s top performers in the 15U (2025) Division at the PGH Circuit Legacy Classic in Omaha.
FIRST TEAM
Laykin Moore – guard, Yanders Law 2025 (Mt. Home, AR)
From start to finish, Laykin was the most impactful freshman we watched in Omaha. The big guard from Mountain Home, Arkansas is about 5’10 with broad shoulders and an athletic build. Moore is just solid in so many ways. She secures the basketball and initiates the offense with good decision-making and poise. She does all the basic stuff really well. And just when you think that’s good enough she unleashes an explosive burst to attack the rim and shows you a whole other dimension. What really stands out over time, though, is Moore’s motor which ran hard and fast and long all weekend.
Gabrielle McFall – guard, Kansas Elite DDI 2025 (Blue Valley Northwest, KS)
The 5’10 McFall knows how to put her fingerprints all over a basketball game. With tons of length, plenty of height, a healthy dose of athleticism and agility, and an energy level that’s consistently high, Gabby put her stamp on every game we watched. She’s got hops, with light feet that get her from her to there really fast. She’s got length, with a weapon-like wingspan. And she’s got that ease of movement we like so much – the ability to get the job done in ways that make it look simple even though it’s obviously not. When McFall fills out physically she will be an even more appealing prospect.
Addalyn Rooney – guard, Omaha Supreme 2025 Wharton (Millard North, NE)
Addalyn didn’t have to travel far to do her thing on the PGH Circuit. The Union Bank and Trust Sports Complex in Elkhorn is a mere 10-minute drive from Millard North High School where Rooney plays scholastic basketball and she looked very much at home this weekend. Rooney is an explosive point guard with quick feet, quick hands and an advanced set of tools. Rooney handles the ball well, distributes effectively and plays the game with energy and passion. She’s also really crafty, with the ability to navigate tight spaces to produce quality results.
Marion Henderson – guard, Nebraska Hoops Elite 2025 (Omaha Central, NE)
Henderson is subtle. At 5’10 with a nice-sized frame, the big guard knows how to use her size and strength to get the better of opponents. At times she blew past them with a sweet hesitation move and subsequent burst of speed. On other occasions she used her physical presence to bump off her defender and get to the rim through contact. Henderson also has nice range and a soft release. The thing that impressed us the most about Henderson was her calm exterior. Marion’s maturity is an asset that paid dividends when we watched.
Mikayla Smith – guard, Yanders Law 2025 (Springfield, MO)
The gifted guard has a solid build and appears to be quite strong for her size. She’s also very quick as more than one flat-footed opponent found out the hard way at the Legacy Classic. Her ability to change speeds and apply a quick turbo burst to fly past her defender was impressive, and she also knows what to do with the basketball when she arrives at the destination. Smith is listed at 5’6 but plays much bigger. With great handles, nice range, and a healthy dose of feistiness, Mikayla had our attention in Omaha from start to finish.
SECOND TEAM
Ajiem Agwa – guard, Air Minnesota 2025 (Austin, MN)
Madison Emery – guard, Omaha Supreme 2025 Girres (Bellevue West, NE)
Emma Whalen – forward, Omaha Supreme 2025 Wharton (Elkhorn, NE)
Addy Tupa – guard, Iowa Prep 2025 (Center Point, IA)
Brielle Pankake – guard, Minnesota Diamond Elite 2025 (Shakopee, MN)
