Makenna Lesiak | Nebraska Supreme | Forward | 5’8″
I have seen Lesiak three times in person now and she always grabs my attention. She has a terrific offensive package, she can dribble drive and shoot with range. Lesiak is as consistent as the come on both the offensive and defensive ends, bringing energy and hustle. The Nebraska Supreme team is loaded with talent and Lesiak does a great job making the most of her opportunities when she touches the ball. Playing with this group will only make her better and have her as someone to keep an eye on come the fall.

Kaylee Denker | Omaha Supreme | Center | 6’0″
Denker passes the eye test when you first see her. She is tall and has length that can create matchup nightmares for opponents. Even with her size, I was more impressed with Denker’s movement up and down the court. She is quick on her toes and has the speed to beat most bigs up the court. She rebounds well and defends well, however she does need to stay disciplined when challenging shots and not give opponents foul shots. As Denker’s offensive package develops and she figures out how to use her strengths to create a disadvantage for defenders, she could be a breakout candidate for this Supreme team and the Spartans in the fall.

Dessirae Ulmer | Rising Stars | Forward | 6’0″
Another with good size and length, Ulmer was impressive not only rebounding the ball but her anticipation for passes. She has a good instinct on jumping passing lanes and getting fingers on entry passes to create turnovers. Ulmer showed she has above average ability to handle the ball but does need to use her size more to establish position for higher percentage shots. Only a sophomore, Ulmer has a ton of potential that will only grow as her confidence and offensive abilities bloom.

Brooklyn Kruse | Swarm | Forward/Center | 6’3″
When you speak of measurables, Kruse immediately grabs your attention with her size. She towered over most players at the Legacy Classic and made it difficult for any opponent to get a clean look at the basket down low. Simply standing with her arms straight up often leads to a block with her wingspan. With that said, besides her height, Kruse has good lateral movement and excellent shot blocking instincts as well. She runs the floor well and works her way deep into the paint for easy shot opportunities. Kruse not only has the size but the talent to compete at the next level.

Kaliyah Sain | Team Iowa | Guard/Forward | 5’10″
Sain is offensively gifted. Her long arms and ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor leaves defenders shaking their heads. Sain has the ability to drive to the basket but does love to shoot from beyond the arc, which she can make at a high percentage. Her length can cause trouble on the defensive side as well, challenging shots and making it difficult for players to get around her. She is the tops on a overall solid Team Iowa team and has the potential to be an offensive juggernaut as she continues to evolve her game.
