The Peach Game Tournament is a part of the Triumph Region. There was plenty of talent on display over the weekend. Here are the players who were selected by scouts for the 16U All-Tournament First Team.
Lexy Moore I 5’2 I PG I 2024 I The Basketball Factory 2024
Moore is a player that never gets tired. She uses a lot of energy to escape faceguards. No matter what the defense sent her way she was still able to score at will. In her final game of the tournament, she recorded 30 points with 20 of them coming in the first half. A quick guard that is constantly moving to get open. Can shoot the 3 ball from deep but also attack the basket off the dribble. A player that is not afraid to get up and guard 94ft and create turnovers. Moore averaged over 22pts per game over the weekend.
Sarah Strong Sarah Strong 6'2" | PF Grace Christian | 2024 State NC I 6’2 I PF I 2024 I Lady Strong 2024
This was the first time I had the chance to see Sarah Strong Sarah Strong 6'2" | PF Grace Christian | 2024 State NC play. She dominated the paint with her ability to use her body to pin her defenders and savy post moves to score at the rim. She also showed her ability to consistently hit the 3. However, what wowed us the most was her ability to put the ball on the floor and attack from the high post with ease. A dominant force on the glass recording a double-double in every game she played this weekend. A player that is ranked #1 in the class of 2024 (North Carolina) and showed why she is a high-caliber recruit.
Cameria Reed Cameria Reed 5'5" | PG Walnut Grove | 2024 State GA 5’6 I PG I 2024 I Team Huncho Future 2024
Reed is a game changer. One of the greatest parts of her game is her ability to get up into her opponents and create turnovers. A player that lets her defense fuel her offense. I loved her ability to get excited during her “And 1s”. She gets her teammates going and fueled up to play both ends of the floor. Has the ability to attack the basket at will and shoot the mid-range shot when needed. A true floor general.
Jayla Bennett Jayla Bennett 5'3" | PG Grayson | 2025 State GA I 5’5 I PGI 2024 I FBC Legacy 2024
Bennett is a special talent. It was my first time seeing her play but her ability to get downhill with a full head of steam is her go to move. A player that knows how to take what the defense gives her. She does a great job of using her speed and body to get to the basket and score through contact. Has the ability to take over a game and give her team a much-needed spark. Exciting player to watch.
Andrea Guilford I 5’8 I SG I 2026 I Team Nite Nite
Guilford is a walking bucket. A pure shooter that doesn’t need much room to get her shot off. A player that can do it all and score from all 3 levels. She hit 5 triples in one game during the weekend. Hard to believe she is only an 8th grader as she plays with such a high IQ. Her length creates problems for her opponents, and she is a great rebounder. She will be on a lot of coaches radars this summer.
