Pool A- Indiana Blaze (4-0)
They are usually in a league of their own as they have dominated most of their games in the two weeks I have seen them. This weekend, they defeated OV Lady Dragons 2024 Red 49-18 on Saturday morning, then came back with a 53-30 win over MSF Flight 2024, a team I really think is talented.
On Sunday, the Blaze earned a 48-25 win over Team Firstep 2024 and rounded out the weekend with a 64-22 victory over Overtime Performance 2024 Owsley.
Standout Players: Jaylah Lampley (feature photo above), Laila Abdurraqib
Rising Players: Ryiah Wilson, Lola Lampley
Pool B: Lady Teague Majors (3-0)
Only three games on their schedule, they finished unbeaten on the day and are listed as the pool champion. They defeated Pocket City Basketball 50-41 in their opener, the closest game they had all weekend. Also on Saturday night, it was a 49-18 victory over Overtime Performance 2024 to head into Sunday unbeaten.
Their only game in their pool on Sunday was a 69-45 victory over Indiana Showcase 2024 Red.
Standout Players: Denyha Jacobs, Gabrielle Burrus
