#1 [player_tooltip player_id="100467" first="Hilary" last="Behrens"] and [player_tooltip player_id="154266" first="Reese" last="Ross"] - Their stock continues to tick upward more and more each year. Behrens is so impactful at the AA level, and [player_tooltip player_id="154266" first="Reese" last="Ross"] nearly dominated the state A tournament, going all the way and securing a state championship. In my books, Behrens and Ross are co-#1 rated prospects in the 2023 class. The two major differences I see in their games, is that Behrens has a better jumper and range, with Ross having more athleticism and interior impact.
#4 [player_tooltip player_id="100472" first="Mallory" last="Miller"] - 6’4 F/C 2023 - Aberdeen Christian - The Aberdeen Christian product had a dominant season, further raising her stock into the top 5 of the class. A rare ability at 6’4 to dominate the interior and step out and knock down threes. Recently had a visit with D2 Northern State.

#9 [player_tooltip player_id="166683" first="Bergen" last="Reilly"] - 6’1 F 2023 - O’Gorman - Bergen is one of the top overall athletes in the state. An elite volleyball player and you can see that athleticism on the basketball court as well. Brings high energy and can jump out of the gym, helping her on both ends. She was the X-factor in O’Gorman winning the state title.
#11 [player_tooltip player_id="100470" first="Cierra" last="Watkins"] - 5’6 PG 2023 - Sioux Falls Jefferson - Cierra’s ranking didn’t necessarily improve, but her stock is still on the rise after her showing in the state tournament. She led Jefferson to an upset win over Washington to make an early advance in the tournament. Cierra competes on both ends, as an on-ball defender and a point guard who can run the show and be a scoring threat.
#20 [player_tooltip player_id="236329" first="Ayvrie" last="Kaiser"] - 5’10 F 2023 - Pierre - Ayvrie is a heck of an athlete and mover at her size. She can get up and down the court in a hurry. Absolutely flies around the court and brings a ton of energy. She attacks the basket hard from the perimeter and good things happen when she does so. A versatile defender that can bring pressure on a wing and in trapping/press situations. Also, defends the post well. Attacks the offensive glass relentlessly. One of the major stock-risers in this update, as she comes in at #20 overall.
#23 [player_tooltip player_id="166687" first="Taylor" last="Thompson"] - 6’0 F 2023 - Sioux Falls Washington - Taylor is a valuable asset to the Washington team. She’s valuable in that she has a big and strong frame, and is able to play inside and outside. She’s 6’0 and is highly accurate from three, with a smooth and consistent release.
#25 [player_tooltip player_id="100500" first="Denae" last="Mach"] - 5’9 SG Viborg-Hurley - Denae rises up the boards after a stellar class B state tournament, in which they took home the championship. A high-volume shooter but she can catch fire and is a major scoring threat from three.
#38 [player_tooltip player_id="166649" first="Jada" last="Burke"] - 5’9 G 2023 - De Smet - Jada had a coming out party at the State B tournament. The lefty showed a complete offensive arsenal, attacking and shooting the ball at high levels.
#39 [player_tooltip player_id="389375" first="Cassidy" last="Keiser"] - 5’10 G/Wing 2023 - Gregory - Haven’t seen a ton of Cassidy but her length standouts at a guard spot. She has some skills to her and can put the ball on the floor and be a threat. High upside prospect.
#42 [player_tooltip player_id="388635" first="Carlie" last="Lawrence"] - 5’6 G 2023 - Timber Lake - I’ve seen Carlie briefly as well, but she has an offensive skill-set and mindset. One of the more individually skilled scorers.
#45 [player_tooltip player_id="377314" first="Hannah" last="Eide"] - 5’10 G 2023 - Harrisburg - Hannah is a solid AA guard with size and the ability to shoot the ball. An underrated prospect that is a starter for Harrisburg as a 5’10 guard that will shoot and hit deep-range threes. Should play a large role for Harrisburg in her Senior season.
#54 [player_tooltip player_id="389376" first="Eve" last="Zephier"] - 5’6 G 2023 - Wagner - Eve is on a stacked-up Wagner roster that has college prospects written all over it. Eve belongs on the court in crucial parts of the game, with her playing IQ, understanding, and decision making. Taken into account, is her presence and experience with SD Attack this offseason.
