After an exciting journey that has taken the Triumph Region from the mountains of eastern Tennessee to the beaches of central Florida, region champions are set to be crowned in South Carolina this weekend.
While the Palmetto State will have teams on hand this weekend at the Upward Stars Center in Spartanburg, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee will also be represented.
The 14U set of teams have impressed all Circuit and this weekend should be no different. Here are five names to look out for.
Anastasia Gillam Anastasia Gillam 5'3" | PG JL Mann | 2027 State SC – 2027 – Calhoun Falls Charter – Greenwood Storm 2026 – Among many an onlooker, Gillam’s AAU team will be looked at as a favorite among 14U teams and Gillam’s play is a major reason why. Also one who participates in track events, Gillam can make tough shots and has no issues with drawing contact and finding her way to the free throw line. She uses her speed and agility to her greatest of advantages, can drain several 3-point shots throughout any game and causes plenty of problems for opposing teams with what she does on defense.
Gabby Moore Gabby Moore 5'4" | PG First Baptist | 2027 State SC – 2027 – Christ Our Kind Stella Maris – H2 Lowco 2026 – Moore has contributed greatly for H2 Lowco 2026 both at Circuit and non-Circuit events this travel season. She approaches the game with a great deal of toughness and fearlessness. Moore displays that not only with the points she puts on the board, but also with her ability to draw contact and find her way to the free throw line. She is also skilled as a rim attacker and can make things happen when she shoots from midrange. Moore also collects steals, forces opponents into turnovers and can block shots in transition. If her game can be summed up in one word, hustle would be that word.
Jade Kitchens – 2027 – T.J. Elder MS – Lady Empact 2026 – Kitchens had breakthrough performances in the middle portion of April when she took to the court with her Lady Empact 2026 teammates at Knoxville Knockout. She is proficient as a 3-point shooter and brings a fearless attitude to every game she plays in. She also runs track in addition to how she has excelled as a basketball player. Kitchens is listed at 5-foot-6 – one of the taller members of the team and is one of three from T.J. Elder MS that is listed as part of the Lady Empact 2026 roster.
Ciara Williams – 2026 – Seacoast Academy – Q4 Elite 2026 – The name Ciara Williams is one that rings a bell from the last Triumph Region event that took place is in the geographical southeast. That was Southeast Slam at Mainland HS in Daytona Beach, Florida – where her team finished with a 3-1 record and she made our 14U-15U all-tournament team. Williams proved herself to be a defensive stalwart who has a knack for translating that offense into defense. Her activity on the court enables her to be in position to convert on high-percentage shot opportunities and she can drain her attempts from deep.
Macy Spivey – 2026 – Rockcastle County – Richmond Heat 2026 – Spivey’s travel team has taken part in several Triumph Region events this rendition – including Knoxville Knockout in early April. She is listed at 5-foot-10 and it gives her a distinct height advantage over many an offensive or defensive assignment she picks up. The fearless attitude she possesses enables her to absorb contact and take her opportunities at the free throw line. Rebounding is another element to her game that makes her one to continue to watch out for. In addition to how she has thrived on the basketball court, her athletic talents also extend to the softball diamond.
