2024 Front Court Stock-Risers

2024 6’1 F [player_tooltip player_id="205643" first="Aniyah" last="Riddell"]( AZ Elite/ Mountain Pointe HS): Ridell is an interior force that is exceptional at finishing around the rim. She is a rebounding machine that fights for every board. Ridell also has a capable midrange jumper that makes her a very difficult match-up for smaller defenders. Her ability to finish in the paint through contact makes her an elite offensive post prospect. Defensively, she uses her body well and makes it super difficult for opposing post players to score in the paint. Look for Riddell to have a breakout season. 2024 5’10 F [player_tooltip player_id="205673" first="Breanna" last="Sommers"](AZ Elite/ Hamilton): Sommers is a versatile post player. She has the skillset to be able to play a wing as well as post with her size. Sommers can really shoot it from 3, handle the ball, and finish through contact in the post. She is a very difficult match-up for opposing posts with her quickness. Sommers is a versatile wing/forward prospect in the class of 2024. 2024 5’11 F [player_tooltip player_id="205654" first="Thalia" last="Daniels"] (AZ Elite/ Sandra Day O’Connor): Daniels is a stretch-four prospect in the class of 2024. She runs the floor extremely well and has the ability to finish through contact in the post. What separates Daniels from other post prospects is her ability to stretch the floor from the perimeter. Defensively, Daniels works extremely hard and makes it difficult for opposing players to score over her. Look for Daniels to have a big year and continue to increase her stock as one of the best post prospects in the class of 2024. 2024 5’11 F [player_tooltip player_id="263397" first="Belinda" last="Gradias"] (Yuma HS): Gradias is a gritty post prospect in the class of 2024. She works extremely hard and is an exceptional rebounder. Gradias is always working to gain an advantage on the boards by fighting for position. Gradias is also a very talented shot blocker. Offensively, Gradias is really good with her footwork in the post and slithers past defenders for easy lay-ups. Look for Gradias to have a big year for Yuma HS this upcoming season. 2024 5’11 F [player_tooltip player_id="205655" first="Madison" last="Brown"] (AZ Elite/ Desert Vista): Brown is an athletic wing/post prospect in the class of 2024. She has really good length which allows her to shoot over smaller defenders. She is also deceptively quick and is able to get to the basket with ease against slower defenders. Defensively, she does a really good job of staying in front of her match-up and blocking shots. Look for Brown to continue to increase her stock in the upcoming season.
