New England 2024 Rankings New Additions Part 3

Here is part three of looking at new players that the Prep Hoops staff added to the Rankings. <b>[player_tooltip player_id="429103" first="Grace" last="Libby"], Berwick Academy, HT 5’9, Position SG, AAU XL Thunder</b> Grace has averaged a double double In her high school career so far. She is a shooting guard with size. She can shoot the three, and also score in the paint. Grace is also a standout soccer player. Grace has a long reach, making it a tough shot for opponents to block. Grace is a physical player, and good on the boards. <img class="size-medium wp-image-418966" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/04/391C7FEE-EE6F-4689-84ED-8ACDC6018DBD-203x300.jpeg" alt="" width="203" height="300" /> <b>[player_tooltip player_id="418965" first="Jordan" last="Niles"], Brewster High, HT 5’5, Position PG, AAU CT Elite</b> Jordan is a point guard, who attacks the basket hard, and goes down hill at the defenders. She is a lefty, but can finish almost as good with her right hand. She isn’t the biggest player on the floor, but she is one of the craftiest. She finds ways to get to the basket, and score over taller defenders. She uses her crafty dribble moves, and ability to play at many different speeds, to get by the defense. She has good ball fakes, and pass fakes. Jordan shows the ability to finish off one foot, and two feet at the rim. On defense Jordan is very hard working, and even with her size, she still doesn’t have many miss matches, when they switch on defenders. <b>[player_tooltip player_id="446536" first="Nicole" last="Norton"], Colchester, HT 5’7, Position CG, AAU Lone Wolf</b> Nicole is a sharp shooter. She has a soft shooting touch. She is always on balance shooting, and has good footwork. She has a high shot release, making it tough to block. She has long range, and had many games with multiple three pointers made last season. One game included a stat line of 4 three pointers, with 18 points and 9 rebounds. She is a point guard, with good size, and can also play off the ball as well. On defense she is a pesky defender, who forces a good amount of steals. Nicole is a player I think you could see move up in the rankings in the future. <b>[player_tooltip player_id="409323" first="Madison" last="Hart"], Sacred Heart, Position PG, HT 5’5, AAU NY Lighting</b> Madison is a high level point guard, who plays with the poise, and the skill level above her age. She is a very quick point guard, and she can can get up the court in a flash. She may not have the size, but her speed is her advantage. Maddison plays much bigger than her listed size. She has a high basketball IQ, and is a leader on the floor. Maddison can control the pace of the game. When she wants to be a scorer she can, and when she wants to be a facilitator she can as well. Madison is a high level scorer, than can take over a game. She has improved her shooting range, and is a threat from three point range now. She had a standout game last year with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and did it while being very efficient. It’s very impressive that she manages to get in the paint so much at her size. Madison is another point guard, who I think you could see move up in the rankings in the future.
