Player Rankings Update: 2024 Stock Risers Pt. 2 No. 37 – 5-6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="360038" first="Aiyanna" last="Peavy"] – North Oconee (Up from No. 56) High-octane lefty with great speed. She’s a blur in transition and can shift defenders out of their shoes with her handle. Peavy has a pull-up jumper in her arsenal. She’s a streaky three-point shooter that can pour in multiple long balls in a hurry. Defensively, her quick hands often lead to turnovers. High Academic guard being tracked by D-I schools. No. 38 – 5-11 F [player_tooltip player_id="372182" first="Nickyia" last="Daniel"] – Hebron Christian (Up from No. 61) Stretch forward is getting more comfortable handling the ball and attacking on the perimeter. Valuable rebounder and defender that can guard 3-5. Spaces the floor and knocks down the three. No. 46 – 5-6 CG [player_tooltip player_id="364631" first="Addison" last="Hoard"] – Banks County (Up from No. 73) Well-rounded offensive threat that can shoot the three or create off the dribble. Does a good job of getting into the lane. Can play either guard position and will climb up recruiting boards over the course of her career. No. 52 – 5-9 W [player_tooltip player_id="371801" first="Emma" last="Hempker"] – Denmark (Up from No. 64) Took a big leap her sophomore season, averaging 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds. Hempker has a good build and good feel for the game. Plays at her own pace and gets to her spots. Perimeter scorer has a reliable outside shot. No. 58 – 5-8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="269516" first="Ellie" last="Southards"] – Rabun County (Up from No. 81) Missed last season due to ACL tear but looked electric at the Sandy’s Spiel Spring Showcase, creating offense at will using a tight handle vs. pressure. Southards is an accurate three-point shooter and is a bowling ball of skill downhill, scoring with floaters and pull-ups. Uses her strength to her advantage when rebounding and defending. Highly polished player that is starting her ascent back up the rankings.
