Ella Lavigne – State 38 Basketball – Ella is extremely long and a fierce rebounder. She really can push the ball well for a hybrid-type player. She can two-step and finish with the best of them. Stretch 3 at the college level someday. Very effective at the free-throw line as well.
Makenzie Drout – Let It Rain – She will post up her matchup if she’s smaller. Strong effective scorers at all levels, Silky smooth jumper. Drout flooded the courts of council bluff with buckets and defense.
Katie Kenney – Beyond Ball – Katie’s game is strong all around. She is a flat-out shooter who can defend strong. Get’s the boards your big’s don’t. Kenney is a small forward type in college one day. She can score at all levels and handle the rock like a guard. When she’s on she can really light up the nets.
Kinley Birt – QC Shockers – Birt’s game is flashy and smooth. She plays with pace and attacks extremely well creating openings for her teammates with great passing and court vision. She was fun to watch at Prep Hoops Live as she sliced up defenses and showed a unique and effective touch with her float game.
Fiona Snashall – BC Denver – Long strong hybrid type player. Fiona’s game is Shrek-like. She can post her defender up if they are smaller or she will take her matchup up one on one with ease. High motor small forward in college who can also defend really well. Rebounds like a stretch power forward and see’s the court well.
Maryne Szalo – Waukee Jam – Gritty power forward who can handle and push the ball in transition to lead the break. Maryne Shoots it well from the perimeter. Great hands and knack for the ball on the boards. Reads the shot/glass well to clean up garbage points in the lane. Very good help-side defense. Uses athleticism well and impacts a lot of shots with her help defense.
Izzy Eisbach – Waukee Jam – Leader in every sense of the word. High basketball IQ. Shoots it well from the perimeter with feet set. Handles well with good move counters based on defense reaction. Fierce Competitor on both sides of the ball.
Dylan Peterson – Waukee Jam – High motor, high effort. FAST. Effective three-point shooter. Dylan hit 2 3’s in a 2 minute OT to seal a win for her Jam squad in Omaha. Her speed causes problems on the defensive side of the court Peterson gets her hands on a lot of passes and causes offensive players to speed up or turn over the ball by being a pest on defense.
