Check out my analysis on some of the top prospects who have really made a name for themselves over the last few circuit months. I am excited to keep tabs on their development as they continue to grow and go into their senior year next year.
Aria Taylor 2025 5’7 Stratford High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2025)
Aria is an active combo guard who uses her constant energy to wreak havoc on both ends of the court. She is a scrappy and active on ball defender who has a knack of using her active hands to poke the ball free and come up with steal after steal. I was very impressed by her ability to run the fast break after coming up with turnovers and finishing on the break. She is the ideal combo guard with her willingness to set up her teammates, as well as fighting on the defensive end of the floor.
Mattie Dollar 2025 5’8 Anson High School, TX (Texas Platinum 2024 Bruce)
Mattie is a sharp shooting guard who has the ability to catch fire at any given point in time on the game. She calmly knocks down shots from all around the arc, even with a defender coming out to contest. I was very impressed with her maturity with the ball in her hands, no player coming at her really affected her as she rose up to shoot. She always stays ready and has a very quick release to punish the defense for late coverage on the perimeter. I was very impressed with the speed in which she was able to consistently get her shot off coming off of swing passes or kickout drives.
She operated really well on the corners and has all the tools to become an effective guard at the next level. I loved watching her pass the ball as well, she made timely passes to cutting and slipping teammates and her passes always seemed to be put in the right spot. Where she truly makes her mark however is her confidence in getting her shot off with a live dribble. I was very impressed with her shot making ability off the dribble at all three levels of the floor.
Sariah Fuentes 2025 5’6 Klein Cain High School, TX (Houston Lady Nets 2024)
Sariah is a high level guard who thrives at all three levels of the floor. She is a good shooter from beyond the arc, especially off the dribble. It was fun watching her manipulate the defense with her eyes while calmly hitting shots in the midrange and from the three point line. She played well and got her teammates involved well, displaying some high level passes in the half court to find cutting teammates. I was very impressed for her ability to play big for her size and position on both ends of the floor. She is able to play with her back to the basket, and score in the paint from her work on the offensive glass. I was very impressed with her work on the defensive end of the floor, she had multiple chase down blocks on the fast break. She is a good help defender on the weak side, who knows the right time to come over to cut off her opponents options.
Brittany Anderson 2026 5’5 Legacy SSS, TX (Just Play Elite 2025)
Brittany is a high level combo guard who specializes on both ends of the floor, and uses her quickness to dominate her competition. She has lightning quick hands which allow her to run in transition and finish on the break. I was very impressed with her intense on ball defense, she routinely picked her opponent’s pocket and used her speed to beat everyone down the court and finish coast to coast. She is great at using her athleticism to her advantage on the court whenever she can, she hustled for loose balls and long rebounds which allowed her team to dominate on the fast break the entire day!
Krysten Carter 2025 5’5 Westside High School, TX (Just Play Elite 2025)
Krysten is an energetic combo guard whose motor seems to never stop on either end of the floor. She is always one of the first players down the court, and loves leaking out on the break to be an open pass while her teammates get downhill. I loved the energy she displayed on the defensive end of the floor, she ran from sideline to sideline chasing cross court passes and always had her hands up and moving harassing the ball handlers. I was very impressed with her aggressiveness and overall play on the defensive end of the floor.
