Myrada Pereles (SA Lady Hoops Charcoal)
Perles is one of many from the organization that over the years, could just shoot the darn ball, and watching her not only create her shot under pressure and drop the mid to long-range but her ability to catch and shoot from distance made her a can’t miss for me on both days
Jayda Reece ( SA Hoops Elite JK)
Reese’s ability to put the pieces together while also showing NO PEACE battling for everything. She took a hard lick on Saturday, and Sunday I asked if she was okay and her response “it happens all the time, I’m used to it” and time is right as in TIMEX because over the years, she has taken lick after lick yet kept on ticking but her game has continued to elevate, on both ends making her legitimate next-level prospect
Presley Wheeler (Hoop 10)
Wheeler is an AG, if you stole my notes let me help, she’s an athletic guard that scored both off the dribble and finished strongly after contact as well as one that could create her shot under pressure and knock it down, from mid to long-range. Her court savviness as well as seeing the floor also stood out
Madyson Mitchell (Dream)
Mitchell will head into high school with a very bright future as she left me somewhat speechless at some of the things she did with the ball. She has a knack for doing one thing in particular and that’s “finding ways to put the ball in the basket” because either off the dribble or showing the jumper, she did it, and so did her court vision as it gave her assists but battling for rebounds to score on PUTBACKS #JustDidIt
Alana McGarity (Stat Pro)
McGarity had me thinking “book em Danno” as she showed a nice pull-up, both in the set and in transition but her range was deep and consistent plus peep this, she’s long and athletic which will always be the base, and watching her not only play the passing lane but handle the ball in the open court after the steal also was nice, so was her rebounding on both ends
Neela Castillo (Stat Pro)
Castillo is an athletic guard, another AG, that scored well by showing a deceptive first step to attack in the set yet she also handled the ball well under pressure while on the flip, her quick hands created steals and or turnovers. She also showed the jumper, the stop and pop in transition was nice, and so was her creating it in the half-court but her range was equally impressive
Ivy Powell (Competitive Edge 2025)
Powell has elevated her game as she elevates off the floor, upwards and I really like her timing not only to rebound against taller players showing the UPS but also to block, alter, and (or) deflect yet she also showed she could drain the jumper, from a standing position, with a hand in her face as well as slice to the basket from a variety of angels
Addison Borchardt (Phoenix 2025)
Borchardt left me speechless with her poise under pressure and ability to run her squad by controlling the tempo. Yeah, her throwing 30 for ALLEY-OOPS was nice but her court vision stood out completely. She also showed she could score off the dribble, well dish off the dribble as well and her mid to long-range shooting kept the defender guessing
