There were several post players who performed well on the circuit this spring, many of them are featured in various stories in this season-ending series. Tonight, a look at six who need to be recognized for their effort and solid performance on the court.

Strong, physical post who does a great job getting into position and uses her body well around the rim. Good communicator, calls for the ball and establishes herself. Good catch and shoot player, able to play through contact. Able to knock down free throws. <em>(feature photo </em><i>above)</i>
<strong>Kendal Taylor, 5 Star Basketball 2023</strong>
Another post who has good strength who is a solid presence on the boards. Rebounds well, uses body to control the paint. Working on sealing her opponent to establish position which will allow her to become even a bigger force. Moves well for a post, nice defender.
<strong>Charlene Gleason, Central IL Express 2024</strong>
Does an excellent job getting into a good defense position and using her strength in the paint. Can catch at the high post and make the right decision. Good court IQ, runs the floor and can create.
<strong>Anna Lunquist, Hardwood Midwest 2023</strong>
She is an excellent back-to-the-basket post and can use her size well at the rim. She has good footwork allowing her to create shots and does a good job getting into position. Good hands and can step out.
<strong>Brooklyn White, Central Kentucky Storm</strong>
She is only a freshman and already possesses excellent court skills and a good basketball IQ. She is a 6-footer who can truly play all five positions on the floor. Very good handles for her size, she will continue to build her game and grow into even a better player.
<strong>Megan Czarnecki, Indiana Showcase 2023 Select</strong>
Very impressive 6-1 post who can not only handle her business in the paint, but step outside and score from the perimeter. She plays hard all the time, takes no plays off. She finishes well at the rim. Continuing to work on her midrange game, but one of the most improved players from last years circuit to this year.
