Cydney Sanders-All Arkansas Red 2026, 5’8” PG-Cydney will be a freshman at Episcopal Collegiate Little Rock. She has all the tools to make a huge impact this coming school season. She’s quick, smart, and can handle pressure very well. As she grows she’ll get much stronger which will only make her better. Look for Cydney to turn some heads this Fall.
Jakyra Jackson-England Lady Ballers, 5’8” SG-Jakyra is a scorer! If you need to score put the ball in her hands. She’s strong and can find her way in the paint for a high percentage shot or a foul. She’s a “crunch time performer”. Her strong side is unstoppable and with a little work with her weak hand, she would keep even the best defenders honest. Jakyra will be a sophomore at Marvell-Elaine High School.
Ciara Bailey-Arkansas Sting Green, 5’6” SG-Ciara will be a sophomore at Beebe High School this Fall. Her leadership skills are exceptional. She can play any of the guard positions and will go in the paint for an occasional rebound. She’s surprisingly strong even with a thin frame. Her basketball IQ is advanced and can hit the three or drive in the lane to dish to a teammate. She’s capable of getting open without the ball. Ciara will be a big part of Beebe’s playoff run.
Mackenzie Moore-All Arkansas Red 2026, 5’8” SG-A Baptist Prep Little Rock freshman, Mackenzie should make a positive impact on the varsity squad this Fall. She’s strong and has gained a great deal of knowledge playing up for most of the summer. She’s most effective facing the basket. This enables her to either set up for the three-ball or drive to the basket. Mackenzie is an excellent free throw shooter and anticipates well on defense.
Maddie Mannion-Arkansas Lady Warriors, 5’9” SG-Maddie can play four of the five positions on the court. She is versatile in that she’s got the size to rebound with the bigs and the ball-handling skills to create a mismatch with the guards. Her maturity level for an incoming freshman is unique. She has the size to play varsity high school basketball now. Maddie should play an extended number of minutes at Vilonia High School this Fall.
Elois Moore-All Arkansas Red 2026, 5’8” SG-Elois is an athlete with a ton of raw talent. She is exceptionally strong for her age. She’s probably most effective with her back to the basket and playing 15 feet and in. She is an outstanding defender because of her strength and quickness. She plays the passing lanes well and can get out on the break for easy baskets. Elois will be a freshman at Episcopal Collegiate Little Rock this coming year.
That raps up my “Best of the Best” first-half performers this summer season.
